NSW & QLD Teams of the Century

[Newcastle Forever]

Great side.

Lockyer was close to the best player in the world when he was playing FB.

A great player, not many can be as good as him and play awesome in two positions.

Lockyer was the King fullback of the world. He was unbelievable!

They put him to 5/8th to try and fill the void left by Langer in the halves because Brisbane were shyt!

when were they s**t, they havnt missed the finals for ages . But i do remember one yr when they were going bad then finished the yr well and just made the eight, might have been the yr they made the move lol.

[Jonno]

just checked then, lockyer made the change around the 2004 season, 2003 was the yr they finished 8th. Karmichael Hunt also debut in 04 so that could have played a factor in the switch aswell

[Denno]

Ofcourse Lockyer used to play fullback. I remember those days!
