I don’t quite understand though playing players consistently for only half a game then taking them off and having as 18th man
I know the team got hammered first 20 odd anyway and wasn’t going to win but unless McCarthy is injured they may as well of kept Hastings fresh and played a straight half for the whole 80

Stats are in for the game and they show what a massive effort Mason Teague put in.
During the game I said he was the only one stopping Mat Lodge in his tracks and his defence looked rock solid.
Stats say he played 80 minutes at lock and made 56 tackles and also topped our run metres with 129 - 60 fantasy points.
He is still young and has played 8 firstgrade games.
I can't see how they could leave him out of firstgrade next week.
Just reading his bio and it says he plays hooker as well. He certainly has the motor, defence and build of a hooker. I've not seen him at dummy half, but even if he is just capable of passing to whoever calls for the ball, he could give our main hooker a rest and play big minutes at lock.

Billy would you pick him or Cant. Hard to see how we’d carry Crossland, Brailey, Cant and Teague in the side.

You’d drop Cant, Brailey played well against manly and offered run threat, Teague is a utility forward so it makes sense to take him over Cant

This coming game would be the time to try him, Croker will likely be needed as Prop and no Elliott.
Cant tries hard, tackles and runs hard but doesn’t make an impact where Teague seems to have a better all round game, versatility

I’ve liked the look of Teague for the past few weeks. Shows intent and working hard for his spot. We need more of that.
Read the NSWRL highlights Davis as a notable mention for changing the momentum for the knights. Didn’t watch the game myself but saw he spent more minutes on the field.
It was Arthur against Arthur too and mentioned J Arthur was a standout for manly.
