Those radio hub guys aren't the worst commentators on internet radio - but none of them are that great either.
Having video will make a big difference - at least when they spend 5 minutes trying to be funny and call no plays, we will be able to see what is happening.

My great great grandfather was the second mayor of Orange in 1869.
He built the oldest brick building in the town and one of the main streets is named after him.
He actually settled there 20 years before it was even named Orange - when it was called Blackman's Swamp.

John Woodward - but good guess.
Dalton had the first hotel in town I think, and John Woodward had the first store and post office, and he built the building that is now the Metropolitan Hotel, but he built it as a store named Manchester House originally. He was a tailor by trade.

I could have sworn John Woodward was the 4th mayor? But either way you certainly have a rich history and strong family connection with the area! It is a beautiful town and I am sure the locals will come out in numbers to support the match!

Interesting connection to Rugby League.
One of John Woodward's grandsons, Ambrose Fullarton, was raised in Orange but ended up living in Brisbane and played Rugby League for Queensland in 1911 V NZ all golds. In 1912 he was selector and manager of the Queensland League side who toured NSW, and he arranged for them to go into camp at Orange before their game in Sydney.

Here is an article that mentions the qld side staying in Orange, and the part Ambrose Fullarton (son of Orange tailor Archibald Fullarton and Ambrosine Woodward) had in arranging their stay.

great side.
If they all play well, that side should start round one, but a few guys still have a chance to grab a spot.

Don't know why Sione is named if he can't play. I suppose he is going to train with the side,

Mullen in for Lamb of course.

The article says Sione & Tariq are both available to play in this, I've been hearing alot about players playing in Nines/trials if they have a low grade charge lately, so I'm assuming that's why. Although Tariq wasn't required according to the article.

Is Mullen out because he drank alcohol that time a few weeks back?

Logic says Lamb can't play well enough to grab that spot, but you know what, every time for the last 3 years I've thought Lamb couldn't step up another level, he's done it easy.
The guy always exceeds whatever you think he might be able to do.

Billy trials do not count towards suspensions any more, so I guess he is allowed to play like Tariq was in the Nines as taht also did not come off his suspension.

I hope we see BJ and Pat lined up against each other.
BJ will try to run over Pat, and Pat has many faults, but letting guys run over him isn't one of them. Lot's of guys have run around him, but I can't think of anyone running over him. Having said that, if anyone can, it would be BJ.
