NRL Supercoach (via Daily Telegraph website) will launch on January 25. That's only 8 days away therefore we need to get things organised!

This year there will be 20 players per pool (a jump of 4 from last year)

In 2013 we will have 3 pools running, please see below as to which one would suit you:

Pool A - Expert - 'Tough Pool for the Elite, commited all year & Experienced' (Please note if you were in Pool A last year and stopped competing/become uncommited you may not be considered)

Pool B - Intermediate - 'Middle range pool for those who are on the fringe of Supercoach but not yet ready to enter the tough pool'

Pool C - Beginner - 'New players willing to learn the tricks and trades of supercoach'

Now it's up to you to choose and follow the instructions below:

For POOL A - Private Message me your name/email to book yourself a position in the comp. This will be a private comp so only people who are serious about playing, know how to play and are competitive all year round.

For POOL B & POOL C - Keep an eye out on January 25 (Next Friday) for codes to join.

NOTE: You MUST register on the website (http://nrlfantasy.dailytelegraph.com.au) before you join the comp from Jan 25th.

For all you Fantasy pro's out there here are rule changes, and there are plenty!

    - $5mil salary cap again this year.

Interested in peoples thoughts abouts the changes to supercoach. Totallay changes the game imo. I don't mind them except I think 40 trades is too many. Hopefully the changes promote more variety in peoples teams. Can't wait.

5 mill could be changed if nrl confirm there cap before supercoach opens. Heads up Gallen is dual and sbw costs just under 300k and 2rf only. Both confirmed by sangster :)

Really dislike the 40 trades a year. Just lowers the strategic planning you need to be up near the top and helps out the ones weak at planning their squads.

I do however like every other rule change.

Going to give both Gallen and SBW a pass at the moment. Might pick them up when they get cheaper. I'm nearly 100% certain SBW will get cheaper as he is still recovering from shoulder surgury and won't start the season on fire.

I quite like the changes they've made. Especially the draft - hopefully it'll be in pool C.

Id love a crack at pool B.

Ive had a little trouble with the super coach the past 2 years having been more used to the nrl site game. Towards the end of the year i got my bum in gear so im hoping for a big year (and not having most of my initial rookies injured or not played)

Are we still doing the thing were all the grand finalists from last year go into pool A? If there is any room in pool A can I get an entry into it. Can't wait to see how the new rules change the game and hopefully it leads to more competitive games.

I wish I played this, is the strategic much different to dream team? I've always finished in the top 10k the last four seasons playing dream team

40 trades is way too many, it takes away the strategy of managing your team, And I really hate the idea of rolling lockouts it takes away the risk of playing someone in doubt so you can get an edge over your opponent, I may not like some changes but its still supercoach and nothing is gonna stop me from playing. CAN'T WAIT

People are forgetting bye rounds are now playable, thats going to change the whole context of the game massively and those 40 trades will definately be needed.

Exactly right there's at least 4 bye rounds that we now will have to play through. The extra 10 trades will almost have to be used during these periods therefore were only really gaining 2 more trades.

Will certainly make you think about all those early season tinkerings thats for sure.

Love it how traditionally ordinary scorers will now be assetts with the new system rewarding razzle dazzle selections as well.
