There is still alot of grey area that I personally don't understand, will we still have debt now Tinkler has gone?

Dunno about half the haters on this forum but I'll be devastated reading bennetts packing up and leaving at seasons end, so much hope and nothing achieved

I think it comes down to how quick we can sign up a few big sponsers.
We basically only have NIB as a sleeve sponser.
No one else wants to be associated with Tinks, but now a company can get major publicity by jumping in and saving the Knights. It's publicity money can't buy.
I'd like to think someone has been working on this, but I don't know who is even in the wings.

Any other contenders aside from Wests to take over?

Safe to assume Bennett and Boyd are gone are my first thoughts personally.

Yes, I believe so. Potentially worse will be the large sponsorship shortfall as Hunter Ports and Aurizon are Tinkler companies, and WesTrac, NSW Mining, Tropic asphalts, Queensland Rail, Atco, Hedweld, Impact Mining Equipment are sponsors only because of their links to Tinklers companies.

As I wrote above that statement is a work of fiction. He has left the club in a worse position than he found it.

Maybe Libra Fleur Tampons will sponsor us.

You don't know the ins and outs of the financial situation.
    Very few people ever will.
The one thing we know is that the victors get to write the history, so for the next 10 years everything that goes wrong will be blamed on Tinkler.
I don't know what your agenda is, but it's obviously about heaping blame on Tinkler.
The facts are that the club wanted for nothing during the Tinkler era except for a bit of heart in the players, and after his era we will almost certainly be back on the bones of our arse. This will be blamed on Tinkler at every opportunity, and the truth will be somewhere on the spectrum of him having nothing to do with it or everything to do with it, and all us mushroom will never know.
Personally, I don't think we will ever see us on the list of big spenders again, and we never would have been without Tinkler.
He is obviously a very unpleasant individual, but money he had and money he spent, and we all loved it.
I say thanks for the good times big fella - i'd still cross the street to avoid talking to you - but cheers for all the money.

Well, we could be optimistic, it's a great beginning for a fairy-tale run!

We get the two this week which is a good start!

That would be a total insult to Newcastle and it's people.
It basically says we are hicks who can't run a football club and we need business people from Sydney to take control.
I'd prefer they fold the club than that.
I suspect it's actually a gee up to get people in Newcastle motivated to do something.

What ever is best for the club, I don't care.

Look at the likes of the NBA, that's how you do it.
