This year you heard it here first. Specials. We'll beat Souths 38-0. Levi 73 tackles & 216m. Sione 52 tackles none missed, 7 line breaks, 4 try assists and 2 tries.

Maybe Levi and Griffin can be hobbled together in a 3-legged manner. Between the 2 of them they'll have 2 good legs to run with

Agree that if Pearce goes down we are pretty much f***ed. I think it was Billy who said that our results effectively depend on Pearce - if Ponga, Klem, Levi etc have a bad game we can still win if Pearce plays well. If Pearce has a bad game, we will struggle to win - those rounds 2-6 are testament to that.

I have to disagree re weathering the loss of Ponga though. Without him we would still compete hard, but we would be nowhere near as threatening in attack. I reckon he's almost as critical to our prospects as Pearce tbh.

I'm hearing the injury to Keary has cost Brown a job with Queensland. The story goes that if Keary was starting, Cody Walker would have been the nsw no 14. Kevy Walters wanted Browny to do the job of letting his team know that Cody Walker had entered play. "Walker's on! Walker's on!". No one can do it like Browny!

I've been ready these forum pages for years, following the discussions, and never needing to contribute, until now. I've had a gutful of following this team every year only to be disappointed year after year. Surely after the last few weeks efforts, the time has come for the club hierarchy to say enough is enough, and thanks for your efforts Mr Brown but you're just not getting the job done. This is his 4th year, he's got the players he wanted, he's got multiple Origin players yet they are playing like they've never met each other. Pearce is playing absolute rubbish, and Klem seems to be doing every single hit-up with no other forwards support. Time for coaching staff change. Who that may be, don't know. Bedsy did OK filling in a few years ago and is Origin assistant coach, could he be the answer. They are not responding to Brown!!

I reckon most of us feel like this. Maybe it's time to have a second team. Knights can be my primary team and stuff it, Roosters can be my second team lol. Always have 1 team winning and the other.....

I'm almost ready to be that guy that stands in the crowd holding up the banner "SACK BROWN" on it. Heartbreaking.

Could do that, or you could throw money on our opponents each game. I've been putting about $10 on the other team to win. Either my team will win (which is worth $10 I believe) or I'll make money off it.

I'm scaling back my support for the Knights until they get another coach. I don't even look forward to watching their games anymore, I just watch the games to see where changes need to be made.

Brown deserved his chance to prove he can coach with the roster he has assembled (pretty good roster imo).

He has had his chance and prooved he can't coach.

Agree with the thoughts of many on this forum. Browns final straw was dropping 4 players , and the result was nothing from the team. Brown appears to be a straight up guy so the board need to call him in , thank him for his time and show him the door.

I think Brown is better suited to recruitment and roster management. He assembled a quality roster at the Dragons and now here, but I'm not convinced he knows how to use the team he puts together. That said, I don't think there's any point spearing Brown until a standout candidate is available. Brown can at least get the players here so coaching instability will only push players away. Griffin and Brennan are not first grade quality. If Buderus is available in future, he'd be a perfect fit. Otherwise I'd like to see Woolf have a crack at the top job.

Bedsy might be up for a crack now that the roster is decent.

Yesterday was first game I missed through not caring. Check score and figured as much. Imagine if we had a coach who could get the best out of this team on a consistent (or close to) basis.

Bedsy would not go within the proverbial ten foot pole of coaching!
