MEMBER 2299 - Marathon Stadium Tipping 2024

Well I’ve been pulling this tipping comp together for a while now and apart from an early year, where I ran 2nd to Harry… I think the best I’ve scrounged is a mid table finish😳.

If I was doing a bit of self psycho analysis, I think this is probably just helping to feed the inner masochist in me🤣🤣🤣

Or maybe it is just my intent to provide a safe space for 90% of my online friends to fail disgracefully as a collective and become comfortable with that failure….seems I have some more work to do with you though brother lefty🫂😉🍻

Thank you for all your efforts in running the comp over the years, Nutty! 😊

I use the same app to have a competition with my brother, and I’ve beaten him by two this year, so perhaps the standard of the Marathon Stadium comp is just so high that a mid-table finish is the equivalent of a sensational tipping season anywhere else. I’m gonna tell myself that anyway. 😂
 
I'm leading my friends tipping comp for the first time. Same as with the MS comp, hit last about 2/3 through the season then raced back up the ladder.

My Mrs is a cowboy fan, she is 2 behind me, so I'm definitely picking cowboys (she will 100%). That way she can't get back in front of me.

I'm disappointed I dropped my 4th place in MS comp, but I got there from 16th, so I'm super happy

Hey James - it has never been a big issue to organise and run....once the profile is set up, it pretty much looks after itself.

I just think it is a nice aside to the other benefits that YOU PROVIDE US WITH MY FRIEND in single-handedly running this platform for a bunch of die-hard (and slightly crazy🤪) Knights NRL and NRLW fans to vent, converse, argue, laugh and cry with like-minded lunatics....

And it is also my little tribute to Harry's memory on this platform 🫂😉🍻

It's a great tribute to Harry, especially since he won it so many damn times haha.

And same as the tipping comp, everyone here is so great, the website is very easy to run, I just set things up! :)
 
My app has not been working for the last few weeks, I can only see my rank not how many successful tips I have made.
 
I’m 2 points behind Frank so I guess I would have to try and go for the upset. Only chance I think will be Roosters over the storm.
 
Tut Tut, reverse physcology, I may pick for the upsets to foil your attempts😜🤪, or maybe not😇😇 or I may go one each way🤭🤭 but which way😁😁 or maybe not put picks in and let it happen automatically🤣🤣.

I took a punt on the rooters to cause an upset to see if I could make ground. Oh well congrats to FrankJ on winning the tipping comp!

Who are we all backing in the GF!? At this stage I’ve tipped Melbourne. They are slight favourites $1.83 Panthers $2.

I’m not so confident though with Big Nelson out. I think Meany may be out also?
 
I think the Panthers will rise to the occasion and will want revenge for the 2020 grand final.
 
It’s so difficult to say, but losing NAS might be the difference. Think I’ll tip Penrith with that in mind.
