Bloody tough SOB. Had a lot to do with him back in the early days. My well wishes sent to him and his family. Just shows knocks hit people differently.

Yep, extremely sad and always a very legendary figure. Most of his career was before my time but I always remember him carrying the Bears on his shoulders through the 1994 finals series with some inspirational performances.

Just goes to show we need to keep taking head knocks seriously and protecting players as best we can.

That stuff about the other blokes on the Footy Show knowing about his condition and still making him the butt of all their jokes because he’s “stupid” was pretty gross.

That was appalling! They may find themselves in the same situation when they get older. You would think that they would have some empathy rather than trying to improve the ratings of their show.
