Ramien signing for a new club at the said price is probably also another good reason to get away from his agent.

All players agents are scum. I seriously don’t understand the need to have them. Such a waste of money from the players in my opinion.

I’m sure not all agents are scum, like everything in this world, good and bad, don’t think I would like to be playing each week while discussing a 3-4 year contract in the region of $2mil. Bit like insurance, hate paying it until something goes wrong, besides not all players would have the ability to negotiate with clubs.

We missed Ramien's defence on the right edge yesterday

Swapping the player defending at right centre a few times during the game couldn't have helped.

Hey mate, if a player goes wild and stuff's up the player manager goes into bad, and also assists them with regular matters outside of footy as well, they aren't just there for contracts.

But yes they are scum totally agree.

Yeah couldn’t understand that, at my count Sione defended at centre, 5/8 & back row. Mann 5/8 & centre whilst Watson also floated around.

I don’t think Brown is totally convinced with Watson at 6

Watson had one of his best games for us doing what he was supposedly bought here to do and what Brown wanted him to do

I assume you’re referring to his strong ball running?

I’m not a fan of messing with the spine mid game too much if at all, rotate the hooker but leave the 1,6 & 7

Levi has been playing about 60 minutes a game hasn't he?

Surely we can leave Watson at 5/8 all game and have Mann, or Buhrer come on for a 20 minute stint at hooker.

I'm also not a fan of swapping the spine around mid game. Hooker role is swapped routinely but the others should be set.

From what I seen on the Weekend we could have the best dummy half rotation in the comp with Levi and Watson 'scheming' out off a quick play the ball, heck we could even play both on the field at the same time for periods of the game, that would be handful for any side.

The issue with that of course is who to play at 5/8

No denial that it's generally desirable to maintain a consistent spine throughout a match, however every team is different and there are no hard rules. Brown may have have a strategy that allows these guys to float around and take advantage of what's unfolding in front of them (Watson, Levi, Ponga...)

Provided they have an understanding of how it should work and give themselves time on the training paddock it could become a strong point of our attack. It should in turn reduce predictability and set after set of one-out plays that infuriate us all.

Of course, should Levi or another player evolve into an 80-minute hooker, or a permanent 5/8 locked in, our gameplans and structures should in turn reflect that.

Watson can't defend in the middle.
Even if he is playing hooker, his rightful position in defence is somewhere close enough to SKD to hold his hand, and someone will have to be taking on the big forwards.
the only way Watson would stop a Fifita or a TPJ in defence would be if they don't notice the little fella and trip over him.

Obviuously you did not watch Sunday's game closely Billy. Watson tackled everything large and small.

How many times is Fafita or TPJ tackled one on one in a game?
