Bloody hell is he that old?

I thought he was like 20 lol, gotta give him credit for sticking to it after so many injuries I guess.

I thought adams was solid for the knights, good service from dummy half much better than costigan anyways... nothing special but just a bit quicker and knew what he wanted to do

I personally wasn't talking about just local juniors, the guys I mentioned like Ethan Cook just happened to be locals. All I'm saying is that I believe we should look first to the guys we already have at the club, on contracts, before looking outside the club to bring new players in. I think we should exhaust all the resources we have within the club before recruiting. If Wayne and co. looked at all the forwards within the club and decided that none of them were up to filling the spots that Smith and Scott will, then fair enough, go and recruit players who will. But I disagree with the idea of just ignoring them, saying that they haven't proved themselves etc.

I get where you're coming from. But Bennett would have monitored all of our contracted players, that's his job and he would know who's capable of what. With so many players leaving there's no way we could just rely on what we've got left because most of our best prospects just aren't first grade ready. There'll be plenty of our juniors debuting over the next year or 2, having senior players like Smith and Scott is crucial to help them ease into the grade and they are probably the 2 best backrowers available and we got them both so I don't see the problem.

Yeah, I'm sure Bennett took plenty of time and consulted his staff and other players before making the decision, and I'm sure I'll be proved wrong again like I was about my new best mate Willie Mason  now that I've doubted Smith and Scott, they'll probably be joint Dally M winners next year.

My personal preference would be to give Terence Seu Seu another chance. From what I saw and have been told he was by far the best player in the local comp. Admittedly since the knights shown him the door he hasn't lived up to his potential. Although he he has always been very smart out of dummy half. Under Bennett he may realise that potential.

On NRL.com it says Travis Waddell is representing the Knights in the All Stars match

Did we end up signing him afterall?

I'm guessing it'd be a typo as it doesn't say anything in wiki or Knights stuff?

Yeah maybe because he's been released and we were the last club linked to him and they had to put a club next to his name

It was on twitter feed that the Knights are still chasing him. He is playing QLD Cup.

Indigenous side is not one player per 16 clubs like NRL All Stars.

    It's just everyone for themselves.

Of the Knights available (Gagai, Tahu, Roberts) only Tahu made the top 20 and he was through coaches pick.

Waddell's name had Knights simply next to it but it's since been edited and he is now listed as 'not contracted'
