Yep that’s my experience too, the Classic retro jerseys are a bit bigger than the current ones.

Article on the back page of the Herald today quotes Gardener as saying ticket sales are best ever for this time of year and he urges fans to get in early if they want good seats. He says he has a future goal of selling out all games before the season starts.

Auckland Blues have done it, so NIB aren’t opposed. Makes you wonder why we still have it that waywish we could do the nib logo with no green background.
I like that a lot. Imagine if the NIB was only the lettering sans background green. AwesomeWithout going back, I think I mentioned here that while I'd prefer us not to have a mostly white away kit, and that it'd be awesome to just reverse the red and blue, this is what it'd look like. I must admit, although the new kit is fairly evenly balanced in the red:blue ratio, and thus the reversed version won't be drastically different, I do like it. The red shorts really make the difference though. I did a version of this today and left the shorts as blue, and yeah, it looks good, but the red shorts makes it stand out.

I reckon the jersey itself looks like a better version of the new home jersey. I don't like the big blue triangle in the middle.Without going back, I think I mentioned here that while I'd prefer us not to have a mostly white away kit, and that it'd be awesome to just reverse the red and blue, this is what it'd look like. Likewise, I, too, feel this jersey looks better with the colours reversed. And I'd go a blue collar for it too. The white collar I'm not such a big a fan of.I reckon the jersey itself looks like a better version of the new home jersey. I don't like the big blue triangle in the middle.
