I know it's only the first week but Gary Van Egmond is the worst manager the A-League has ever had. I just don't know why Branko Culina was sacked in the first place when he was doing such a good job. I know that GVE won us the Premiership in 2008 but that was such a fluke!!!!

He's on thin ice. He's come close to the playoffs for the past few years and failed at the last hurdle. He's gone if he fails to deliver.

Branko was sacked because of the way he handled the transfer of his son, who was nowhere near ready to return and they blew Tinks's money big time on him. That's why he was sacked.

He was smashing it at the end of last season (start of this year) and still smashes it when he is playing. But its more that Del Potro got it is that is ridiculous, his grand slam form was weak - Aus 3rd round, French NA, Wimbledon SF, US 2nd round. I know there are other comps, but the grand slams are the ones that really matter.

What a disgusting display from the Jets last night no wonder why GVE is the worst Manager the A-League has ever had. He is like the A-League version of Ricky Stuart. GVE was a great player back in the NSL days but abysmal at manager the only reason he is won the championship with the Jets back in 2008 was he was given a championship caliber team!!!! #GVEOUT

They just have no consistency at all. As soon as we look good and win a few a in row, we always lose a good few in a row after. It's been happening for several years. We really need a new coach.

im not the biggest jets follower but ive been to a few games with mates who are big fans and they all hate Van Egmond and I was surprised at the games ive been to the section I was sitting didn't think much of him either, my friends tell me the jets have one of the most talented rosters in the A-League and the problem Van Egamond just cant coach, a friend of ours (a former jet first grader played a few games) said that any1 that questioned or disagreed with Van Egmoned was benched or dropped and the players were scarred or him and his mood and basically he's a p.rick

First year of watching and getting into A-League and i must say i love it! Up until a week ago i absolutely hated it and thats probably only because i never really gave it a chance and didnt bother in chosing a team to follow. Decided on the WSW due to the fact i live there now and am hoping to go to the game on Saturday vs Sydney FC!!
