EPL is arguably the best league in the world. A-League is slowly getting better, no where near EPL standards though. I like seeing the game in Australia improving though.

Yeh, I guess here is where the cash is at the moment. European Cup final is Man. Utd vs. Chelsea.

I'd like to see those players who've earned their wedge in Europe (Viduka, Kewell, Schwartzer, and so on) go back and coach in A-League. If I remember right, Australia did pretty well in the last World Cup. Didn't you run Italy close in the second round match? You only lost 1-0 to the eventual winners.

I dont mind A-League that much when it comes to the Jets but much prefer League.

Mariners/Jets could get in excess 25k+

It should always be Knights first, then Jets.

I know this doesn't matter, but how do they have so many threads/posts! The Jets are a relatively new team.

Yea i agree, but its footy season, so they probably wont get the numbers they did at the end of last season.

Obviously, Man U. for the double. Just settling down now to watch them play West Ham. The Barcelona game this week was a heart stopper.

The thing about the Jets is partially novelty value. The A-League format for football (soccer) is a relatively new to Australia. That plus the Jets' success last season, will probably see a lot of froth about the game.

The Jets would have to move their game. They'd find it easier to move as they'd be so early on in their season with no World Cup to plan for.

Yeah, you'd imagine it would be the same as the Wests match at the SCG that had to be moved in round one because NSW had a home final in the Sheffield Shield or whatever. As primary tenants, the Knights would have priority.
