OK chaps, it's the off season........nothing much to do after the World Cup until next Feb/Mar. The mods have had a chat and wondered if you wanted any changes making to the forum over the Winter ( sorry, Summer! Forgot myself there  ). Do you want to see a different layout or forum theme? There are loads of you interested in graphics so get thinking.

You all use other forums and social networking sites too. Is there anything you like about another forum that you think would work on here? Let us know. I can't promise that we'll do everything but we'll look at them and take them all seriously (unless you're taking the p*ss - in which case, you can feck right off!).

Feel free to post your ideas in here. Those whose ideas get used win...........erm.................**checks in pockets...fluff, damn**.............erm, maybe a bit of rep? :icon_redface:

You get the kudos for playing an important part in the best unofficial Knights site on the planet!! Remember, it's your forum. Get thinking, get designing, get posting!!

Maybe we could have a special forum for other sports?

And i think those name things would be good, instead of the number of posts?
it came up in another thread sometime.

I think you mean the names of players as your post count increases, replacing the 'senior member' tag.

I was thinking for the above banner... having them alternate.

Similar to Pumba's signature how they change with a refresh. However this time there could be like a in the above banner from the previous 2008 season.

I'm pretty happy with how it is now tbh. Don't change the layout! Maybe more sections as NK 9701 said.

    Agreed.

    Some ideas,
    - Update the look of the main site to correspond with the forum
    - Add some more forum sections
    - Get some more awesome members such as myself
    - Lets have an Xmas party!

When were talking add more sections, are we just referring to other sports forum?

Another thought, may sound lame but an Appreciation forum, with each player we commend them on their efforts throughout the season... and there will be strictly no bashing. That way players can read the things fans appreciate of them?

Someone thought of it sometime ago.

Keep the suggestions coming through! More the better!

Im up for the alternating banner thing AK suggested. And Another forum seems to be what others want. Just for other sports?

Hmm i like that idea. With a player profile for each Knight would be good and then a discussion. And we could have some for Chief, Joey, Matty etc

In terms of making new forums, i think we should keep it down to maybe just one or two new ones, otherwise it'll just get confusing on where to post stuff

I dont think there are any plans to add large amounts of new forums. Maybe one or two depending on if its suitable and if enough people want it.

Yea and i think that is enough. Making a whole new forum for just GameDay wont work IMO.

Personally, I can't see a need to change existing forums, nor to add new ones.

I think adding a general sports forum is a good idea, it would be handy for people to keep them all in one place. The only question is would it be busy enough, and would it reudce the activity in the off-topics forum so much that that one became redundant?

Tbh, leave it how it is. If another section is needed we'll know.. we wont go looking for it.
