Sacked and will be looking for a new club next year.

From a purely on field perspective he's a big upgrade on what we already have.

I can't see the NRL re-registering either of them.

I’m more than happy with a back-row of:

    11. Fitzgibbon
    12. Frizell
    13. Barnett

    That’s salivating.

Not sure he's a big upgrade on our current back row tbh, esp assuming we get Friz.

What do you mean assuming we get friz?
He’s signed, both club and player confirmed

You realise that it was the NRL that de-registered him right?

Lol @slotmachine saying the sex offender is an upgrade on those 3. Spent half the year in NSW cup for a pool dogs side.

A lot of people have done a lot worse and have played again.
To be honest, I don't even know what these guys did wrong, apart from maybe not getting enough sleep while in training.
Letting some legal age girls come back to their room has to be the lowest level "violation" anyone has been sacked for.
The papers tried to talk it up as some sort of child molesting thing because the girls were going to school, but it was very clear from the start that the girls were legal and willing participants, and the police had no interest in it.
I reckon they would have a very good case for wrongful dismissal if they took it to court.

    Morale wise it’s half right

It’s more the fact that they were doing it through sponsorship commitments at a school while on the teams watch and the sponsors pay.
But you take out school/school girls and replace that with an older woman in her 20s outside of a school and it’s a non story

From my understanding CHN met his one outside of the school in his own time I believe

But it is all too suss that the story dropped a day or two before the Bulldogs opening game and that was definitely a design by our pathetic media.

Worse than grown men doing schoolgirls? And one of them picking up a girl directly from his involvement with the school.

No this is the worst I've seen, don't care if they were past the age of consent or not.

Thing is when one of these guys texts the girl and says what are you doing tonight and she texts back YOU then the girl needs to take some of the responsibility as well … Personally I don't think you should be sacked when your not breaking any laws ...Fined for breaking club rules yes but not sacked for doing nothing illegal .

Nah sorry this is all on the footballers heads.

Ethan if a Dr goes to school from NSW health and gives a talk on whatever than picks up one of the schoolgirls he met there do you think he still has a job?

Same thing, and CNW met the other girl at a community event representing the club.

I am sorry I just find this completely creepy and disgusting and hope they are never registered again.

So you are saying this is worse then players beating up their wives?
Or worse than what Mat Lodge did?

For the record I am happy that they are stood down. But it's not worse than the above.

It's as bad, school children are to be protected not to have sexual relations with.

I’m with Lord on this one. I don’t want players from my club attending a high school to promote rugby league and then pants some 16 year old girls later on. Yes, I understand there is no offence. But the image and morality is a bad look on an enormous scale. That is reflected by them losing a major sponsor deal. The NRL should be applauded for making the right move. I’m sure if it was your daughter you’d be over the moon that adult footballers came to her school and one way or the other resulted in this.

Aside from the fact that people seem naive that they can stop teenagers from having sex, there probably should have probably been a trigger in the older persons head that they should know better with the media overexaggerating everything and all.
