Ive been liking Mann as hooker more so then 5/8th this year, even with Bailey back next year always good to have depth for the Knights cursed No 9 lol

Sounds like a champion bloke then, its great to see soo many Knights step up when needed this year.
To be honest - while I do like watching Watson (5/8, fullback, hooker), Mann (5/8, hooker, center, wing), Sione (center, 2rf) play. And they seem like resilient, hard working people.... I'd much rather us sign a good up and coming half... burton.. dearden... sam walker... etc. What happens if pearce gets a season ending injury? Happy to see hoy, crossland, etc progress but if mann, watson, sione want to be here there next contract should be 200k max imo.
Sick of ponga playing in the halves in attack.... He goes so good as a fullback on the left but hardly saw that tonight.

There is a rumour doing the rounds that Blake is going to retire immediately, forgoing his doggies contract, to take up a coaching role here. He must have impressed in a mentor role this year. It was great seeing him involved in the awards last night. I have little doubt our season would have gone even better if he'd stayed on the park.

I think you may be close to the money Owey. After they interviewed several prospective assistant coaches AOB said that he was considering promoting one of the current development coaches into the vacant assistant coach role, vacated by David Furner. I can see Blake Green going into a development coach role and either Rory Kostjasyn or Eric Smith being promoted.
