2024 NRLW season comments

There is still a tiny window for us to win the minor premiership - it would require Saints to beat Broncos (the upset of the season) and Eels to beat Roosters (a chance to happen) and we would just need to beat the Cowboys by 20 to storm to the top of the table.

There is probably an equal chance we miss the top 4 if we lose to Cowboys and Eels beat Roosters.

I short - about a 90% chance we finish 2nd, 3rd, or 4th, and about a 5% chance we finish 1st and a 5% chance we miss the finals
 
I know it’s highly unlikely now but it would be very funny if we were to sneak through into first. Everyone’s been banging on about the other 3 teams and of course we haven’t received a mention at all.

Or better yet, we just win the whole thing again.
 
Eels V Roosters
Roosters win by 21+ - Knights play Brisbane in Brisbane
Roosters win by 20 or less - Knights play Roosters in Sydney
Eels win by any margin - Knights play Roosters in Newcastle
Eels win by 35+ - Eels sneak into 4th and play Brisbane
 
Eels held on - just - to keep us in a game v Roosters.
We still have to beat the Roosters and Broncos to win the title, but better we don't have to play Brisbane in Brisbane.
 
Would have been nice to get 12-15k to Newcastle next weekend, but Allianz it is with probably 5k.

Hope I'm wrong and good turn out for what should be a good game. A good game of the Knights trouncing the Rooters!!
 
Kelly hyperextended or dislocated her elbow. Looked very nasty.

Think playing Roosters is definitely the preferable option. Especially since it means we avoid another trip to QLD. They’re also far more likely to choke than the Broncos.

Won’t be easy by any means. Physically they’ve probably got us covered but they’re definitely beatable and if we play our best we can win.
 
Gallagher finishes the season tied as top try scorer in the comp with 9. Good effort considering she missed a couple of games and still looks like she’s running around on a bad knee.

Upton was tied for fifth with 7 tries, but also lead the comp with 12 try assists.
 
Sliding doors moment this year was the hard to explain loss against Saints in Newcastle.
I said at the time that you can't lose these games in a short season.
Saints only won 2 games - one against us in Newie.
We would have won the minor premiership and be playing a home final with any sort of effort on that day.

Kernick must be injured or having surgery surely?

Briggenshaw and Apps were great in there time, but surely their time is done? No Teagan Berry again either.

Think Higgins can count herself lucky in some ways. I love her, but I think she almost played herself out of it in that last game.
 
Yeah bloody hell Dodd over Manzelman

Everyone knew poor Dibb was going to get it but in what universe is Apps better than Kernick. I don’t care whose friends with who that’s insane.

Liv is lucky she’s so tight with Yas that gets her in the girls clique.

Doubt she’d give up the State of Origin pay day even if she wanted to. Three Origin matches is close to a lot of their wages

Surely Chapman and Kernick are in the best 17? Bizzare.

Dibb seems to be the female equivalent to Jackson Hastings, so can kinda understand that one.
