If Melbourne pick him up he can stay out of the spotlight down there and will probably win a Dally M winger of the year - and they'll get him for half price.

Media, Media, Media bloody well shouldn’t be involved in any discussion about anything, especially football, don’t understand why they don’t just shut up and let us tell it like it is, boring with nothing to criticise or talk about.
Give us a break mate, like give us a comment about something other than the media, let’s try talking football, Mmmmm interesting concept, might actually work but according to the Tele it won’t work, or will it, jury is out

Can confirm this as being 100% true. I saw a stranger post a Facebook comment saying that they saw Jake at a cafe in Newcastle.

How many games has he played? >20? Just another kid with potential for mine would rather stick with Crosslands and Hoy.

Clifford has looked really good in the 2 or 3 games i've watched him play, but how many young prospects in the spine positions do we need?
We seem to have 3 or 4 already.

Someone has to go. I don’t know how you keep Hoy, Mann, Clifford, Crossland, Watson.

That still leaves Mann, Watson and Clifford in firsts? Only way that fits is Mann right centre, Clifford 5/8 and Watson 14 with Crossland and Hoy waiting/hoping for an injury and none of that is great.

Depth is always a great thing tho, Hoy and crossland haven't really proven anything yet. But panthers have Burton and may as halfs options and when you look at Melbourne they have nicho hynes and Brandon Smith not starting . I think to be a good club you need that kind of depth.

Also I was thinking mann could make a decent 13 in the Mcines mold. Push barnett to an edge and Fitz to the bench. Probs would never happen but its interesting to think of the possibilities for obi

Sh*ts all over Mann so already makes the team stronger. Signed a 1 year extension this year but I guess if he gets a multi year offer from any club he would be mad not to think about it.

Cowboys do seem to be looking at squeezing someone out to make cap room so who knows. Might depend on if they get McGuire out or not. He is in something like 800k.

Very reliable poster on the Cowboys forum says his mail has Benji ending up at the Sharks as well so Cowboys may not even release Clifford if they don’t get Benji.

I'd take Clifford. He was the Cows best half this year from the limited games I watched.
Not sure why they would let him go.
