Assuming Levi is gone?
Too soon to tell, keeping an eye on Toohey's twitter feed...
Mason Lino out for 6 months needing shoulder surgery.
Phoenix Crossland and Simi Sasagai will be given a shot at 5/8.
Obrien priority target is a strike centre and not a 5/8.
Hymel has signed for 2 years.
Looks like Ese will stay.
Club confident Levi will go.
Lino is a blow, Hunt signing was no brainer, happy if Levi stayed but not needed as much now so spare cash is better. Happy if Ese’ese stays he will be better in 2020.
Have we heard anything on Ramien since O'Brien has been given the gig?
Based on the comment above "...Obrien priority target is a strike centre and not a 5/8." then he is not revisiting the decision to cut Ramien loose by the sounds of that.
Also, I like Herman but he has shown serious deficiencies defensively this year - he is a poor defensive reader and is consistently beaten by a simple change of direction because he gets caught flat footed very easily
Yeah, Ramien re-signed with the Sharks a couple of weeks ago.
I wouldn't be surprised to see some enquiries into Curtis Scott
Will Chambers might be more available then Scott given recent events in Melbourne

I don’t want an ageing chambers here. He’s a grub and isn’t close to what he used to be
I don't want him anywhere near the joint either. He is probably closer to the exit door at Melbourne then Scott is though.

Musgrove not re-signed and off to Manly.
I wouldn't mind Tyson Frizzell.
Shame about Musgrove. I'm sure Obi will have his own plans. Would take Frizell, absolutely.
Even at his best Chambers was massively overrated and he’s regressed a lot over the last couple of seasons. No thanks.
Musgrove must be a fantastic trainer because he hasn't had a good game in 3 years and only plays half a dozen games a year between injuries.
Mitch Andrews is a very similar type player who seems to deliver a lot more on the field.
By the end of this season we also had another tall, lanky centre/winger in Toby Marks who played 8 games of reserve grade and kept Musgrove out of the side, and I'm pretty sure Marks started the year in under 18s, so at least 3 and maybe 4 years younger than Musgrove.
Haven’t seen as much of Musgrove that we should have, injuries mostly, like Andrews better he at least plays a bit.
Frizell would be the go id like to get him here. Klem, Daniel, Frizell, Jacob, Ese,ese all on the field at the same time , that would be a hard pack to stop .
Guys I think will thrive under the new coach are guys who have some skills.
The obvious ones already in firstgrade are Ponga, Pearce and after the last few games, Klemmer.
Glasby had some good skills when he first joined us from Melbourne, and I expect he'll get them back under his old coach.
From the lower grades, Hoy, Crossland, Searle, Jones, Matt Croker, Jaron Purcell, Luke Huth, Chris Randall - all guys with some ball skills.
It will be interesting to see if he can get players like Watson, Sione, King, the twins, Moga, etc to develop some passing skills and vision.
Teams he has been associated with have skills across the park and set plays involving all sorts of players. We have about 5 guys who do everything, and the others just play simple roles around them.
Watching some of the shapes the Roosters tormented Souths with... I don't know to what extent they involved O'Brien directly, but it sure was pretty.
Its good when your halfback doesn’t even need to play and can be an on field coach too.
That was pre Obi.
