Gun Sea Eagles forwards Jake Trbojevic and Addin Fonua-Blake will both sit out the entire summer with shoulder surgery expected to rule them out of the opening rounds of 2020.

Both representative forwards are scheduled to go under the knife on Tuesday with up to four months on the sidelines predicted.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs have conformed that five-eighth Kieran Foran will miss at least six months after he undergoes a shoulder reconstruction.

Foran had scans on his shoulder yesterday and will require initial exploratory surgery to determine the full extent of the injury.

Bulldogs CEO Andrew Hill said that the club was fully behind Foran following the injury he sustained while playing for New Zealand against Great Britain on Saturday.

"The club will make sure that Kieran receives the best possible medical support during surgery and his rehabilitation and will continue to monitor his recovery and potential return date," Hill said.

Great Britain lost Ryan Hall to a knee injury in that match, with the winger unlikely to play any further part in the tour. The Kiwis take on the Lions again this Saturday in Christchurch to complete their two-match series then Great Britain play PNG the following week.

Earlier hooker Brandon Smith was left out of the New Zealand side for failing to meet team standards.

Mainstream media only care about regurgitating the same old news and information over and over again. I basically come on here to find out any Knights news when I'm busy these days lol.
