Also not to drag up another old thread but it seems like we've dodged a bullet with Corey Norman, and it makes sense why the Eels have been fed up with his behaviour. Video going around of him posted on social media encouraging what appears to be an elder relative to show the younger generation of people how to do an unknown substance

    From NRL.com

The Dragons have agreed to release star playmaker Gareth Widdop from his contract two years early, with the Englishman to move to the Super League at the end of the 2019 season.

Widdop will join the Warrington Wolves for the 2020 season and beyond, with St George Illawarra releasing him on the condition that if he returns to the NRL it can only be with the Dragons.

Former New Zealand back-rower Lewis Brown has decided to hang up the boots at the end of a decade-long career spanning stints at the Warriors, Panthers and Sea Eagles.

"Reports Brandon Smith is unhappy at the Melbourne Storm following Cameron Smith re-signing for a further 2 years are completely inaccurate. I'm told Brandon is viewing this as a "chance to learn more." Brandon has played 22 games of NRL & represented the NZ Kiwis 4 times."

What else is he gonna say when asked? Yeah Cam re-signing is a big blow to m, I'm gonna be looking at my options. We see it so often now, denials in the media only for it to happen. Even though they are prone to making stuff up, there is definitely often a fire brewing behind a lot of smoke the media put out at times.

Oh definitely. I’d expect Brandon to come out and say what he did. Don’t believe it for a second though. He has every right to be p*ssed after being promised things that haven’t eventuated.

Warriors here. What an off season for us. I was surprised we got rid of Gavet, you have got a good one there. He got in trouble here for punctuality but when you look around other teams there are worse problems. However rules are rules.

The big one was Johnson. Who to blame for him going depends on who you talk to. The bottom line he has gone and I wish him well, but the Sharks?

I dont think we would have released Lino if we had a crystal ball, but it is what it is. He is a whole hearted guy who has made the most of what he has been given.

We have 3 rookies supposedly in line to partner Green. Also Hiku has played there. I am pleased the club didnt make a play for Norman. Goal kicking is my concern unless they play Keighram.

Otherwise I believe our squad is better this year. Ah Mau is our biggest signing. How will we go. Guys, this is the Warriors. Us fans are guaranteed to go to Heaven as we suffer enough on earth.

    Go the Knights.
