So Brad Arthur to Sharks is an interesting rumour. Who coaches Parramatta already widely tipped as wooden spoon and now possibly no coach at start of final block of preseason preparation not a lot of money in the bank and a squad that is coming apart. seriously think only one back and one forward any other team would be interested in and those too would be stupid not to take an out now, Nathan Brown to follow Arthur to Sharks and Clint Gutherson to the Dragons

Brandon Smith would have to jump ship you'd reckon.

Pardon the pun but there is a storm brewing down in Melbourne at the storm. Not a happy camp with Smith signing on for another 2 years.

This is from a reliable poster on the Cowboys forum who has a certain son in the Storms squad. He didn’t say anything specific just said it’s not a happy place at the moment.

The only person who would be dirty would be Brandon Smith. In saying that maybe a few players on a pittance because the club has waited on him to sign.

Yep there will be a flow on affect. Can easily see multiple people being annoyed by Smith hanging around for two more seasons.

If I was Brandon Smith I'd be doing everything I could to get out of there

Cam Smith is a selfish prick who saw the chance for 1 last big payday and the chance to play 400 games

Not sure who is worse, Him or Gallen

Cam is still the captain yeah? Surprising that such a signing would ruffle the feathers of the players
Bellamy actually detailed in his book that he held Cameron back from captaincy because he wanted him to learn from the senior players who were there before him so it'll be interesting to see when this successor is annointed.

^The difference between Gallen and Smith is that Smith hasn't slowed down as much as Gallen (who looks worse without the peptides) both on the field and injuries wise.
The Sharks attack also looks atrocious when Gallen is on the field taking a hit up instead of stretching the defense
