There’s a strong core there at Manly. I wouldn’t write them off to quickly.

Like all teams they are looking to improve even those that finished in top 2-3, it's possible that we, Knights will improve quite a bit but finish no higher than 2018, that's not failing just not improving more than others, especially those in bottom 4-5. What we need is a concentrated effort to beat those that finished below us, 2018, and beat those that finished 2-3 above us along with home victory against those that finished 1-8. I think with Klemmer we can do that even if we sign no other to players although depth is a worry, I am confident that top 8 is a serious possibility, free of long term injuries make it a serious possibility.

Interesting to look at the players who won the 2014 under 16s national title for us - basically the first group to go through after our high performance squad was set up with Tinkler money (designed by Graham Murray).

    1. Matt Cooper - did a firstgrade off season with us last year and at the Storm this year.
    2. Brayden Musgrove - having his second firstgrade offseason with us.
    3. Heath Gibbs - had a firstgrade off season with Wests last year and might be in our part time squad.
    4. Nicolas O’Meley - I think he will have his second firstgrade offseason with the Roosters
    5. Samuel McIntyre - now in Wests top 30 squad
    6. Nash Birch - could be in our part time group
    7. Brendan O’Hagan - having his first firstgrade offseason with Canberra
    8. Pasami Saulo - in our top 30
    9. Tom Starling - might be having his second firstgrade offseason with either Penrith or Wests
    10. Brodie Jones (c) - in our top 30
    11.
    12.
    13. Kurtis Dark - might be in our part time squad
    14. Tex Hoy - should train with firstgrade
    15.

    22. Luke Huth - having his first firstgrade off season with us

Teams need grubs. He can grub it up all he likes while he does the dirty work for Taumalolo to run riot. To many times he was making 30+ tackles. Get that down to 15-20 a game and he will go to another level which is scary for the opposition.

Still yet to be confirmed but coming from a reliable poster.
