The fantasy points for that game were nuts.
I think we only had Yates score more than 60 a few times last year, but this game
    Fermor 77 - 15 runs, 135 metres - 1 line break, 1 line break assist, 1 try assist, 5 tackle breaks - 33 tackles, 2 missed.
Star Toá 72 (11 tackle breaks in 13 runs, 2 line breaks)
    Herman Eseese 70 (168 metres - 31 tackles at 97% efficiency)
    Hoy 68 - 18 runs for 207 metres
Crossland 60 - 206 run metres and 326 kick metres

Mitch Andrews also did 21 runs for 159 metres with 2 line breaks and 2 try assists (his fantasy points were down due to 6 missed tackles)

Woolford played 80 minutes and made 41 tackles with 91% tackle efficiency

Jamie Soward showed his usual great timing yesterday.
Just before we smashed the Jets, he predicted the Jets would make the grandfinal this year.

Hoy, Crossland, Ese’ese were great. Jones also looks like future NRL material, went off with a HIA but passed. Strong performance all round. Not sure about Woolford just yet though.

I always thought Brodie Jones was reasonably fast for a forward, but his run to try to support Crossland was pretty pointless - Crossland was pulling away so fast it looked like Jones was stuck in mud or something.

Technically, this was Crossland's first game of senior football.
Last year he played the under 18s season, then wasn't picked in under 20s for a fair while, so i'd guess he only had about a dozen games of under 20s.
60 fantasy points in the first game against senior players is pretty good.
Also from the highlights, Chris Randall had a hand in a lot of the tries and reports say he went well at 5/8. I'd love to know how old he is. I think he played in the Newcastle rebels under 23s last year and came through the juniors at Lakes with Dylan Phythian, which would make him 22 or 23 I suppose.

The weird thing about Chris Randall is that he was the only player last year who never got a profile listing or stats record on the Knights site or NSWRL site. Some players who only played 10 minutes off the bench in 1 game got a profile - one guy had a fantasy points balance of minus 2 - I think he ran on, missed a tackle, and ran off - but Randall played some outstanding games over many weeks and never got a profile.
This year he doesn't have a profile again. Herman Eseese didn't have a profile for reserve grade before kickoff, after being a late inclusion, but by the end of the game he had one on both the Knights and NSWRL sites - but Chris - invisible man for nearly a year now.

Knights are top of the table after round 1.
Hard to stay there though, with our next opponents being the title favourites, Penrith.

Hoy has always had a lot of energy, but if you add his runs, decoys and supports together, he must have gone for a run nearly every time we had the ball.
I know it won't happen, but i'd love to see Crossland, Hoy and Toá play under 20s next week. Those 3 have frightening amounts of energy - they'd destroy under 20s with the fitness they have after a firstgrade offseason.

Star To'a not in any side.
They might even be giving him a rest. He's had a big month or so.

Just looking at the stat leaders for the comp and Chris Randall is leading the stats for support runs. The weird thing is he still doesn't have a profile - every other player on the leader board you can click on and go to their profile - but Randall is the invisible man leading one of the stats.
