    Some interesting choices by Green,

Kahu and Hampton to centre, TMM to FB and Clifford into the halves.
I think Opacic is a little hard done by, but I am stoked to see Clifford back.

Clifford was highly thought of yeah?

Is this a Knights or Cowboys forum? :p

Nah in all seriousness those changes had to happen in the backline. TMM has been very solid in his appearances at fullback and we had to fit Clifford in somehow. Very promising talent and a genuine organising half.

Just need Tuala in for Hampton and Feldt for Bowen when he is back from injury and that would be my 1-7. Bowen to his credit has bounced back from a disappointing year last year and been quite solid in my opinion in both games.

Need to somehow fit Asiata in for more minutes. Seriously under rated player and can do both sides of offence whether it be yardage game or ball playing. Always adds a new dimension to the side.

Good thing I posted it in the Round 3 Discussion ;)

Nah, Just interested to know about these things and peoples thoughts for tipping purposes. Like you said but a matter of when and not if for Tuala to be in the team.

Yeah I think TMM should be fine at fullback, most go fine if they get the job done under the high ball.

I was a dumb dumb and changed my tip to the Raiders at the last minute before having Storm :brickwall:. So information is key! :D
But I also probably should have checked to see if it was actually going to rain, I remember hearing 60% at the time...

Wouldn’t matter I’m sure certain people still complain about reading through Cowboys stuff.

He simply should be in the side right now there are no two ways about it. Absolutely dumbfounded as to why he isn’t.

Yea I would of tipped the raiders if I was in any comps. Thought they had a real chance of knocking off the storm but they didn’t come close to looking likely.

Dylan Brown for Parra looks the goods in only his third game. Making Ponga look pretty second hand in comparison

The sharks are a horrible side this year. Definite bottom 4. Lucky for them we are just as bad.

Both sides tried to gift the other the 2 points. Sharks ran away in the end. Cowboys seem to lack a leader in the forward pack. Bumpers over the hill. Pooof maquire tried hard but didn't get much help. Too many errors from cows but gave it their all till the 80th.

After last night's drubbing CBM think you will be struggling to make the bottom four!

Thumper* but yes he has gone one year too long. Though I’d be lying if I said I wish we never signed him up again. Wouldn’t of been right to see him in another jersey.

Green needs to back up the talk from the off season and pick players that warrant the jersey. Still sticking to a couple of his favourites that don’t belong in FG on the past 18 months of form.

Also needs to get rid of the same structured plays he brought in back in 2014. Gone from one of the more attractive sides to watch in yesty year to one of the most robotic and boring sides. Was good while you’re winning but like Maguire at Souths when the wins dry up you’re on a hiding to nothing.

So from the first few rounds it seems the refs are being very laid back about the ruck. We all hated the way the storm could slow down the ruck at will but gee it seems to be that the refs enjoy the way they play..............

I think they’ve got the ruck speed right. Sometimes I think there could be a penalty but that’s because we’ve been use to the ref penalising every little issue. The game is way quicker.

Quicker sure but I've seen attacking team winning ruck but getting laid on which I think is unfair.

Definitely. The game the way it is will evolve the hooking role imo. Coaches will change shapes and strategies to suit.

He always lifts when on the big stage. It will be interesting to see if he goes back to his average form when he gets complacent in firstgrade.
