Two good games of football right to the end, seemed like a few injuries to key players so will be interesting to see who actually makes it to GF, am thinking Roosters to win but sentimentally hoping for Raiders.

Only thing that could beat the Roosters is if they start thinking all they have to do is show up.
Canberra will give it everything they have, but that shouldn't be enough.

Really hope Canberra go on with it. They’re the most deserving of any team in my opinion. So glad Melbourne got knocked out.

Good think for people who dislike the Roosters because of their unlimited salary cap with their coach Cronk retiring after this match they’ll go back to being near enough but not good enough before they signed him, but unfortunately for those who dislike the Storm Bellamy will make sure they continue to be good for years to come with or without Smith.

Just enjoying a different team being there for once and one who didn’t need to resort to cheating with the salary cap like the Roosters or the Sharks did.

Far from Ricky’s biggest fan but kudos to the raiders office for letting him see things through and not overreact to bad seasons.

The thing Canberra have done that got them into the GF is to sign all those poms.
The thing about signing poms is that the ESL teams don't train at the same level as NRL teams, so you don't know if they can reach a new level or not.
Whoever is doing the scouting for Canberra has either got lucky or has a great instinct for picking guys who would thrive with extra training.
We got that Wardle guy a few years ago, and honestly, he wouldn't have got a start for our reserve grade side on merit, so he didn't thrive at all.
On the other hand, that Hodgson guy for Canberra wasn't even seen as a very good player in the ESL, but once he started training at NRL level, he quickly became one of the best in the game.
In short, whoever is deciding which poms to sign in the unsung hero for Canberra, because he is mostly picking winners.

Utter bollocks and drivel. Hodgson was a gun in the super league before coming over here. He made the junior national teams and then capped for England before stepping foot at Raiders HQ.

I was also living in the uk before he came to the NRL and saw a lot of him.

Same goes with Batemen as well. I’ve mentioned his name on here years ago and he has been a gun for a long time.

Who's worse? The DH who filmed Munster at the pokies or the DH's at Fox Sports for encouraging the DH and posting it as 'news'.

I think it’s good, shows how much **** they put up with sometimes, he did well. I probably would of ended up in a punch up.
