Too many older and busted up players. With less depth this time around. SJ coming in may help but he’s made the finals once since making the 2011 GF. Another year of a 37 or so year old Gallen stinking up their attack isn’t going to help.
Being disrupted all off season is never a good recipe, just an observation

Haven’t said anything outrageous or anything too out of the ordinary so not sure why you’re surprised

Agree re Gallen, but their spine is top notch. Their juniors coming through are very good so I don’t agree re lack of depth. Anyway, hoping we can expose any weaknesses in round 1.

Dugan, SJ, Graham are all some examples of players who have picked up injuries later on as they’ve gotten older. And Dugan is seemingly injured half the time anyway.

Not sure why people are so shocked that the Sharks have a realistic chance of missing out on the finals this year with everything that’s happened...and as well as that having a rookie coach taking over.

Hence why I said Just An Observation

I’ve nevrr rated SJ but a change of scenery is probably the best thing he could have done

Graham is 28 years old and is by far one the better players on that team......Dugan does get hurt by a strong gust of wind! Sj is a freak

Even if not at least you can break down your reasoning instead belittling another posters opinion. Predictions in this game are next to near impossible, we always get a surprise packet with the comp being so tight.

I think the cows will struggle for points imo losing Barba will hurt them

Back line looks more like a Q-Cup side

Not the greatest of backlines but a NZ and Australian international reps in 2 of the spine positions with 2 of the more imposing/physical wingers in the game both great at taking a high kick. Centres is the worry but once Tuala nails down a spot that won’t be a problem either.

I would have thought Tuala would have been more fast tracked in to first grade by now, dunno. He looked ready to me from what I saw...

Every year I think those old fossils at Cronulla must have gone one year too long this time - and every year they visit the fountain of youth and prove me wrong.
