Typical of the NRL. At least we still find a way to turn up in droves.

The "magic weekend" at suncorp will see us play the dogs 3pm sunday in which appears to be a dogs home game. Good to see we wont lose a game at home.

Another long wait into the season for Ponga to lose again against his old club :p

Gotta love the Broncos favouritism with the NRL. They are technically playing away for magic weekend... The NRL don’t even seem to try and hide it these days.

5 home games in first 7 weeks. I think i prefer to be on the road early.

I’m amazed at how difficult it seems for the NRL to do a home/away every two weeks or something close to that affect....

Such a pain in the *** to have a glut of home games followed by a glut of away games to even it up.

Especially as a cowboys fan having 4 out of 5 to start the year at home. Right in wet season... I mean can’t think of better weather conditions for good quality football.

Why do we get all of the hard teams in the first 25 rounds...

It's ok. Mathematically we can still make the 8.

Well we only play 3/4 of this years top 4 teams once, only team that petrifies me that we play twice are the roosters.

Pretty friendly to us all things considered.

Definitely a friendly looking draw on the surface. Just a matter of what teams surprise the competition good or bad next season now.

Could just as easily turn into a harder draw if teams like the Storm and Souths slide down which I think is a possibility. Especially Souths.

I personally think this is the best draw they’ve ever produced, from what I can see most sides have an even draw unlike previous years where we’ve been playing each top 4 side twice.

One of the reasons they put together a few home games in a row is to give the players a chance to spend a couple of weeks in their own home without having to fly interstate.

My heart bleeds, they get paid very handsomely to compensate them.

I'd rather the home/away cycle be a lot more the routine.

I am actually thinking this might help get the team off to a good start in the season, get some wins early and build some confidence. Run out a full strength (practically) team, with home support.
