Mats Knights up 20-6 at halftime against 12th placed Central Coast. Knights seem to be resting several players with Jonah Pezet not playing and the bench players getting lots of game time.
Bit of a training run.
40-6 at fulltime in Matts.
Brody Perry 2'
Brody Perry 6'
Oryn Keeley 11'
Angus Crosbie 19'
Oryn Keeley 24'
Noah Nailagoliva 27'
Max Bradbury 28'
Macauley Aoake 31'
Perry kicked 4/8. Jonah Pezet would have got 6 or 8.
Next week the Knights play Souths in the game that should decide the minor premiership. Both sides are undefeated with just 2 games to go.
Ball down 18-6 at halftime - looks like they'll miss the finals
18-10 in Ball with 25 to go - might not be all over yet.
If we can creep into the finals and get players like Bradman Best, Simi Sasagi and Jaron Purcell back from injury - we could still give the title a shot.
18-16 with 20 minutes to go in Ball.
18-20 to the Knights - 9 minutes to go.
24-20 to the roosters with 5 to go
lost 24-20 - that's the third loss to a top side by less than a converted try this year.
with injuries and close results, this team is having no luck.
Pezet has a compound fracture of his finger, will be lucky to play again before Harold Matts finishes. They have plenty of depth though & weren't troubled at all today. Henderson has been improving each week & Blackman played for a while in the halves & looked alright even though he's a year young. Looks like the comp is there's to lose.
SG Ball were a bit disappointing I thought. They started alright but seemed to drift in & out of the game. They really lifted in the last 15 & started putting some shots on & ran with aggression & intent but then let the Roosters in with only a couple of minutes to go when they really should have closed the game out. Have had an unlucky season & now look unlikely to make the semis.
Pezet is a big loss.
Having said that, I really liked what I saw of Henderson in recent highlight packages, and as they say in the classics, cometh the hour, cometh the man - it's a great chance for Henderson to take control of this very good squad and make a name for himself.
Separate names with a comma.
