Decent but no way they beat Australia, might beat England

From the DT

NEW Zealand have suffered a major blow on the eve of the historic Denver Test match against England, with a number of key players ruled unavailable for the clash.

The New Zealand Herald are reporting that halfback Shaun Johnson, fullback Roger Tuivasa-Sheck, second-rower Tohu Harris and outside back Gerard Beale will all miss the inaugural clash in the US for varying reasons.

It is believed that Johnson and Beale will bypass the clash due to recently returning from injuries, while Harris and Tuivasa-Sheck are said to be placing club before country.

More to come...

Geez NZ aren't in a good way, so many guys missing already & 4 fit players just straight up pulling out today.

Can't understand not wanting to play for your country, isn't that the ultimate aim for players and with that comes the bonuses such as greater income, something wrong in camp NZ?

Late Mail

England v New Zealand, Saturday 2pm (Sunday 6am AEST) at Mile High Stadium, Denver

England: George Burgess has not travelled with the squad to Denver despite confusion over the weekend about whether he would play. England have lost halfback George Williams after he was ruled out with a knee injury suffered in Wigan's defeat of Hull FC last Saturday. Williams still travelled to Denver in the hope of being fit, but was ruled out by England's medical staff. His absence means England coach Wayne Bennett will almost certainly start with St George Illawarra five-eighth Gareth Widdop and St Helens utility Jonny Lomax as his halves, with Warrington's Stefan Ratchford at fullback.

New Zealand: The Kiwis had their first training session under new coach Michael Maguire at the University of Denver on Tuesday afternoon.
