If Tom hasn't impressed yet I don't really know what's going to impress the coaches. Talk about tough.
1. Matt Cooper 2. Justin Worley 3. Starford T'oa 4. Mitch Andrews 5. Elijah Rasiga 6. Nash Birch 7. Phoenix Crossland 8. Mathew Croker 9. Tom Starling 10. Jirah Momoisea 11. Kurtis Dark 12. Beau Fermor 13. Brandon Russell 14. Tex Hoy 15. Tevita Alifa 16. Jack Cameron 17. Ben Talty Unchanged side from last week. Penrith look pretty strong despite having all 3 grades playing this week.
https://www.newcastleknights.com.au/news/2018/09/12/fierce-rivalry-behind-20s-grand-final-qualifier/ Article mentions the rivalry between Knights and Penrith in this age group. This age group beat Penrith in the under 16s grandfinal in 2014 and lost to Penrith in the qualifying final in under 18s in 2016 (Penrith won the title). Guys like Starling, Dark, Cooper, Gibbs, Musgrove, Jones, Saulo and a few others now playing reserve grade at other sides like Nick O'Meley, Sam McIntyre and Brendan O'Hagan have all been part of these rivalries, and it's brought out the best in both sides. Our 2 games against Penrith this year have been our biggest loss of the season (by 16 points) and our best win by a few points with a very poor side due to a heap of players filling in in reserve grade due to 6 players being suspended in that grade. Anyway - this is the big one for the boys I think. Pity it isn't the GF.
https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2018/09/13/nswrl-to-live-stream-week-three-finals/ Don't forget there will be a live stream of the under 20s final from 3.15, and other finals as well before that if you are keen. Biggest game of the year for our juniors. Newcastle and Penrith have been the best sides in this age group in the country since under 16s and have had epic battles time after time. We just beat them in under 16s, and they pipped us by a few points in under 18s. This year we are 1-1 with them giving us our worst loss of the season (14 point loss) in the first game, and us winning by 2 with our weakest side of the season just a few weeks ago (it was our weakest side because 6 players were suspended from reserve grade and many players had to fill in). The team that wins this should go on to win the GF next week.
Does anyone know anywhere else we can watch the live stream of the Jersey Flegg game as the nswrl match centre live stream is offline and you can't watch anything.
Stream now running, but way behind. Only just finished Sydney shield game and intrust yet to start and it’s already half over.
I think it is going to be live on facebook too. https://www.facebook.com/NSWRL/?hc_...6GpkEbMgYUNiB4X40T9rUMleyZISjNkrjRc3vYnHqQ_xU
Both teams are 1-17 as named. Penrith are 4 points down in reserve grade with 6 minutes to go - so they may go out in all 3 grades this weekend.
https://www.nswrl.com.au/news/2018/09/13/nswrl-to-live-stream-week-three-finals/ live stream is not yet showing pictures, but a few background sounds are coming through.
