Was there a stream? Didn't even know! Sh*t.

I'll stay up late to watch now. I read Howzo with the try assist?

Was it long range try? You beauty.

Apparently Soward suffered a groin injury in the 55th minute.

House started strong, dropped off a littel in the second half (not sure if he was on much?)

Uate ran it strong but never found space until the end.

    Mullen was good.

Soward's injury gives good hopes for Mullos sky blue spot. Uate is probably in, did good. Not sure what houston's chances are.

NSW's attack looks pretty blunt to be honest if we're taking players from CvC origin. I'd take Dugan over Hayne because he got mroe involved in attack and was the only one who looked like penetrating the line. Mullen's the way to go for sure, he ran the ball to the line at good times and didn't do too much wrong. Mitchell Pearce was okay, ran his team around good. Soward was looking good and I probably would have had him over Pearce in the Blues team.

Hinchcliffe tried hard, but he's just not that specialist hooker we need. Definitely more of a hilder type player. Farah was less than impressive. If Ennis won't be fit then i'd take hinchcliffe though.

Other players that looked okay were Heighnington and Fulton (but he's not going to be in origin i don't think).

Hinchcliffe got MOM, although He was reasonably solid he definately doesnt have the skills of a good hooker. Houzo was also solid but not up to origin standard physically compared to others. I have no idea why bird wasnt picked, he should be an origin definite IMO. Uate and gordon were definately better than their opposing wingers. Dugan vs Hayne was a tight one, i think dugan may have slightly won that battle. None of the halves were outstanding but mullen was probably the best tonight, all bias aside. And although aku may not have found clear space until the end, he looked damaging and threatened the line with every run, should be wearing a sky blue next week, he really does have all the talent in the world. Its a uate partay! lol

NSW back three for me after that game IMO should be

    1. Dugan
    2. Hayne
    5. Uate

QLD kick chase would be under pressure for 80minutes

Was super impressed with Mullen this year he has taken his game consistently to a new level
Also very impressed with Simon Dwyer who will be in a sky blue jersey sooner or later

I thought Houston was the pick of the Knights players and probably up with the best for Country with Hinchcliffe.

Uate tried hard all night, made a couple of errors but made up for it with a great try at the end.

Mullen was fantastic in the second half after Soward went off, controlled the game to perfection and kept City consistently on the ropes with pin point kicks and some nice attacking passes and chips. Really stood up and brought Country home from 6-12 down.

Awesome game tonight. I always prefer this match to the test match. Way more exciting to watch imo! Both teams had pretty good & average moments. QLD are gonna be so hard to beat this year...... again.

I have to say though, it was great how the english ref blew few penalties, it kept the game flowing, other than this the City v country game was the better.
