    Clarke will make it worse.

    Doubt it.

What kind of a captain bowls part time spin bowlers with one wicket needed for a victory (Lords 09)?

What kind of a captain elects to bowl first in a test match with no McGrath (Edgbaston 05)?

He is my favourite player of all time but is a rather pathetic captain..

(I know the stats say that he is the best captain in test cricket but stats lie sometimes..)

Australia are makig a good fist of it!

But still, I would have the house on England until Australia need about ten runs haha.

England must be starting to get a weeee bit nervous, though.

It was a tough call, but ones like that usually get given from what I've seen ... correct decision, I reckon.

As for Flintoff, don't worry, he's off to be a hometown hero at the local pub after today haha.

It's not his fault his first 3 years his only tough decision was the toss, in the field all he had to do was bowl Warne from one end and rotate the quicks from the other. When Warne and McGrath went he had to become a really good thinker and he probably isn't up to it.
It doesn't help having a pie throwers like Siddle and Johnson as his strike bowlers either

It's so gut wrenching losing the ashes.

Our time as the no. 1 cricketing nation has passed. I can't see us getting the no.1 ranking back any time soon but by smashing the Poms in 18 months time we will at least regain the ashes.

Well done PK! I'm expecting an apology from NF for all his pommie bashing haha.

Exactly, it's just down to the quality of the players ... they just aren't there anymore for Aus. You guys are gonna have to get used to not dominating like you have in the past, for a while, anyway.

If anything I think he's done well to keep results as good as they have been recently ... to win the series in SA was a huge achievement.

England still = sporting failure. But for the last 4 days Australia have been a cricketing failure. Well done England, you're still ****.

Apparently Australia are now fourth in the official test rankings. An indication of how competitive test cricket is at the moment.
