Yet, Pezet is still trying to get a deal done to stay at the Storm... He played 10 NRL games this year for the Storm and will play NRL again next year. The Storm are smart enough to know the value of depth in their top 30, and Pezet is in their plans beyond 2025.

Why sign with us for 2026 when he can stay at the Storm and get a 'lend' deal ... by 2027 they're likely to have him playing NRL for them. Same as they did with Harry Grant.

They won't give him an early release. Why would they? The good clubs play the ball not the man.

Storm have played that well... now they just tell him he's not getting an early release for 2025, to encourage him to re-sign another couple of years.

We have a heap of middles. Crazy not to move 2 or 3 of the top 30 guys on... there's a couple of really good young fella's that aren't far away from making their mark on the NRL. Don't block their path.
