I can't jump on the Jeffries hate wagon just yet because anything less than a premiership was going to be considered a failure. The reality is, we finished 3rd, still did very well. 3 premierships in a row is a very hard thing to do, bound to lose eventually. Next season is his chance to fix any...

Put a bit of money on the girls today, shockingly considered underdogs today on the betting. Like I could understand the Roosters being slight favourites to win, but we were paying 2 dollars something, too good to pass up. We are much closer than those odds say we are.

Well that's the thing, if he's stays and he's out of favour he's going to tank his career. Unless he backs himself to completely rebrand his image at the club next year, you'd think him, the club and his management will be trying their best to find a suitor here or overseas, work out the finer...

What is Arthur like as a player and what is his history all that? I can admit I've never watched him play but he's getting talked up quite a bit.

Sounds very focused on that premiership. There was definitely a switch that flicked in him a few years ago now where you could tell he wanted to become the best player he could rather than being this cruisey dude who has a lot of things outside of football. He's been steadily getting more and...

I think Edwards would probably get it based off reputation, incumbent Origin fullback and Panthers premiership superstar. But I think if you were trying to genuinely pick the best team Ponga would have to be the choice. He would be at another level playing in a side like the Kangaroos and I...

People had that stigma about him being an older guy who didn't make it when he was younger, so he must have been bad but I reckon there was a brief period of time where he was up there with the best wingers in the game. Easy to forget now, but he was dynamite. Played 100 miles an hour too. If...

Be a brave team to give him another go though after falling out of favour at his fourth NRL club. The Roosters and Manly it was like, he was young and dumb, went away to England, grew up a bit. Then at the Tigers I think most gave him the benefit of the doubt, it was a basket case. But now that...

Think that's pie in the sky type stuff. If Pezet is leaving Melbourne it's probably for a team that is going to have a punt on him with decent money and a crack at 7. That's just how the game is these days, young guys with hype often get paid before their time. We won't be signing two halfbacks...

The calls for him to be at 6 weren't for nothing, he's just better suited to 1 as we've learned. Happens to be gifted with the both the ball playing and the running game. Elite talent, just needs the right structure supporting him.

Yeah that was a strange talking point from him. In a vacuum it makes sense, we made the finals, why are we overhauling the roster? But he acts like just three weeks ago everyone in the game weren't saying the Knights were **** and should sack the coach and all the players. Just being negative...

Yeah I'd say that'd be the thinking. Clearing the decks to make space for the next generation. Croker is decent and likely to become a dependable first-grader the more he plays, but he's off-contract in a rebuilding phase and not a must keep.

I looked this up after the Sharks debacle. We are second worst only behind the Tigers. 19 games, 3 wins, 4 draws and 12 losses.

They finally added a profile for him. 20 years old, born in Hong Kong, a big boy at 193cm and 93kgs.

Knights player #353 Knights debut: vs South Sydney Rabbitohs, Round 25 2024

Insane if that's what he said. I don't get this argument he needs to play fullback. That might be his best position but if he's going great at wing for us why would that not be good enough?

Knights player #352 Knights debut: vs Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks, Round 24 2024

That's how I've felt when I've seen him play. He can bring a lot of value to a team, but his best position is probably 14, rather than starting somewhere.

The point is successful teams have passion, they want to win, they want to play for eachother. You don't foster passion in an environment devoid of fun.

I don't know anything about him, but he came to the club as an older rookie player. Basically a project player thrown a lifeline, it didn't work out. I'm not too fussed on it.
