Definitely would have never thought we'd have a pair so soon that would compare to the days of Uate, McManus and Vuna. Though I reckon Uate was a combination of both Young and Marzhew. The speed of Young, the raw power of Marzhew and then the silly errors/high ball troubles both can have too!

Knights Derangement Syndrome. The last 20 years have made Knights fans among the most cynical in the league and fair enough! 😆 I choose to enjoy what is happening now at the club and hope it turns into a premiership.

You just never know who's going to kick on sometimes until they played a bit of top grade.

No one remembers how a team won a game, the only thing that history remembers is the wins. The Warriors of 2026 will be long forgotten. The Knights of 2026 will be long forgotten too unless we find ourselves in the grand final! Just gotta make your own luck and live or die by it!

Big game player. Thought he was good early in the season before really going off the boil once he signed with Brisbane. But he's saving his best for when we need it.

Yeah I wonder why that hasn't been sorted out yet. Already has the most tries in a season for a Knight I'm pretty sure. You'd wanna hope there's a promising junior ready to go. Would be very discouraging if they downgraded when we have a perfectly good player there unsigned.

Most of them have some sort of personality though. The one I cannot understand is Cam Murray. Guy is the most monotone, emotionless, dead inside person to listen yet he gets a gig on Fox panels. That is definitely a jobs for boys clause in the contract somewhere.

It does annoy me how often Best does have a quiet game in attack, would be nice for him to go looking for it more. But then I wonder if that's a strategy from him and the training staff to lessen his workload to keep him more fit. Would love to keep Young as a pure athlete, he's always going to...

18 years old. She's got a big future in the game.

It took a long time for them to use it, but the Broncos did end up using it about 3 or so times when they were well behind and Storm 2 times. Was a bit of a nothing burger but it was a game that meant nothing. I could imagine a team like Penrith using it really well and strategically but at the...

Higgins is 33 now, she won't be around forever. Shipton is a young player getting picked in rep sides. Going off her resume, she will be a good one two punch with Lahmert moving forward. We'll never know when Lahmert might want to move back home either, she's a young kiwi. The women don't...

Hopefully Roosters don't rest anyone!

Can cop that one, it happens. Have to take punts sometimes with young players in important positions. You never know, you might get the next Harry Grant. The ones that are impossible to understand are deals like McCarthy having player options or Sullivan having a 3-year top 30 contract. These...

Yeah Herbie is a big boy. I think the young Gagai comparison is a good one.

It's definitely being overblown. The squad will be fleshed out by fringe players or local PNG players, they won't be winning a comp in their first year. I'm excited to see them go though, the NRL needs them to be somewhat competitive straight away. Having 30 PNG local players would be a PR...

On a side note, how good to see Ponga challenging the ref. There's always been doubts over his leadership because he's a cruisey guy. He'll never be Cameron Smith, but you can tell how much he wants to win now by getting more vocal with the players and officials. You need to be able to sway the...

I think KPP just had a big contract leftover from the previous recruitment guy and naturally was going to receive a reduced moneyball POS contract from us. Tigers offered a bit more than what we were willing to. So he's probably just now earning his actual market value.

Couldn't imagine they would throw him in like that. We'd probably have to deal with Cant playing big minutes and maybe Diesel getting some time to give him a rest. But hopefully Harry is alright. Crossland has shown no indication of being injured either apart from the murmers going around...

Tom Cant.

Don't disagree, however very frustrating to lose like that with the critical point we are getting to in the comp right now. There's some big games coming up for us, it's not going to get a whole lot easier than tonight. Every 2 points is crucial now, if we're not careful, we could legitimately...
