NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Late to the game thread as I was on a 2500km road trip over 2 days. Couldn't spare any time to watch the game until now. What a great performance. I did read some comments that we went a bit flat when our middles went off and I think that is unfair to the bench to be honest. The only real...

NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Thats where the professional 6 again sin bin comes in, and loss of two points if they take the conversion. Pretty good deterrent.

NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

I like the 6 again rule, it is better than the game griding to a halt for every penalty. It used to be so stop start it was ridiculous. But, there are tweaks it needs, what I would change. 1) Go back to 6 agains only outside the 40m line. 2) Stop handing them out willy nilly and I'd like to...

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

Amazing how that problem seems to have moved from us to them. Fingers crossed Sharp is back next week for some added strike.

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

Couldn't watch it live, watch 60 minutes of it this morning. I thought we played pretty well considering the scoreline, but it was obvious we missed Ponga and Brown. You can't really say those players would have added 1-2 more tries and we still lose, as with them the entire game could have...

    Justin Holbrook discussion

@Billy said a while back now something like a coach has 3 seasons at a club and if things aren't working they need to be moved on. It was something along those lines. I think we have progressed from Brown who came here to essentially bite the bullet and re-structure our cap, he did so and we...

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

He is already our pack leader, if he needs the C next to his name to become what we need then he doesn't deserve the C in the first place.

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

The only reason to pick JSaf over Gags at captain is in the hopes he takes the C next to his name and decides he is going to become this inspirational forwards leader. For mine Gags deserves the C, much more accomplished resume than JSaf, and is on the field all the time. If anyone deserves the...

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

Well I think if that long term plan is for DB to play the 7 for us, he needs to stay there and take control of the team. Give him stability in the position we want him to play in long term.

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

Makes sense but going back to earlier, coach was naming him in the halves to keep him in close to the action. I suspect he will do the same again. But of course we had KP in the 1 at that stage and were wondering how we would fit Sharpe in. Without KP and DB creating opportunities, playing...

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

I'm thinking coach goes Sharpe and Smith in the halves with Hunt in the 1. Guess he will want Sharpe touching the ball as much as possible in close to the action, given we won't have Ponga and Brown creating for us. Hunt can hopefully do a job there in the 1 and see from there. Alternate, Gags...

Probably the years and years of tripe we have dished up.

NRL Round 2 - Sea Eagles Vs Knights - 4:05pm Sunday, 15th March - 4 Pines Park, Brookvale

Fantastic win. Years gone by we never win that game. Losing Ponga would have been enough, but Brown gone also and we continued competing, continued scoring points. Outstanding.

Is it too much to ask for a season without injuries to crucial players FFS.

NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

something else I wanted to recognise was the team rising to an occasion on a big stage, at a big event. In the past we haven't been the best at turning up to "special" days, like player debuts or anniversary games. It was great that we flew over there, allowed themselves time to soak in the...

NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

Also, I got sick of hearing them jizz over Tal every run when his runs were ordinary and nothing at all like the Tal of old barnstorming runs. They were extoling his quality first stint when in reality he was fairly ordinary.

NRL Round 1 - Knights Vs Cowboys - 1:15pm Sunday 1st March (AEDT) - Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas

I did want to highlight a negative here and that was Dom Young. I spotted some lazy moments from him one of which was walking in back play when he should have been pushing up and supporting Fletcher Sharpe. Coach needs to be highlighting that play and asking what he was doing there. We need...

    Vegas 2026

After admittedly being a bit of a laughing stock around the NRL as an organisation, it was such a relief to be leaving Vegas with the best game out of the three on show and taking the win. The ESL game was embarrassing, the Dragons/Dogs game was dead boring for the most part until extra time...

Yeah KP at first receiver just doesn't work! He is no good at it.
