    The Halfback Conundrum

To be honest if I were Sullivan, I would be getting rid of braily, Hastings and do everything I could to get brown and fogerty. If reported amounts are correct, wouldn't be like for like, but I think we are straight away in our premiership window. With ponga coming off in 27, I think it's now...

    Recruitment And Retention Discussion

Love all the chat, I think it would be crazy for us to pass on trying to sign him. And to be honest what teams have won a premiership without halves worth around 2 mil? Sharks 2016 is the only one I can think of. Plus TV rights deal around the corner, cap will go up. $1m could be equivalent to...

    2025 pre season thread

Thank you for this. Shows how dire journalism is when this is all fans want to read but only get tabloid reporting. This forum has become the best source of truth for knights news.

    Recruitment And Retention Discussion

To be honest, the idea of sexton coming fills be with dread. I have never seen anything from him to make me think he will take us to the promised land, let alone be an upgrade on any halves we currently have. I do love the idea of Fogarty though. He went through some great form in 23 and is a...

Just makes you wonder if we didn't bank so hard on pezet if we could have gotten a hunt or trindle. However unlikely

Yeah watched last night, very surprised as I still think about mason hating on the knights. But they instilled a bit of belief that our team is stacked with the exception of halves. Sounds like everyone if very on board with trying sharpe at 5/8 and needing a half to kick well next to him.

Honestly wasn't a fan of him, but watched thigh highlights and he clearly has a lot of talent. With the lack of options we would be crazy not to make a play. Who knows, maybe getting out of mosses shadow would do him good. With that said he will play for the roosters in 2026

Yeah difference with broncos is they have Reynolds. Ben Hunt would have been perfect but they got him too hahaha. Imo make a play for fogerty for young players to learn off next year. And this yeah hope for the best with the other halves

    Recruitment And Retention Discussion

Have to agree, AOB would be looking at what Bellamy has done with two full back halves and thinking Sharpe would tear up teams if it comes off. Also the more I think about it, would not be to different to what the broncos do with walsh and Ezra. I cannot remember Ezra ever throwing a great cut...

    The Halfback Conundrum

Also Jye Linnane has done his ACL, pretty bad off-season for knights fans

    The Halfback Conundrum

Fletcher Sharpe interviewed on SEN, was asked who is 'training the house down'. Said Will Pryce is fittest in pre season leading the way with drills etc. Also sounds like he may have done a bit of halves training. Very interested in trials now

    The Halfback Conundrum

Is there any footage of Sharpe playing in the halves? Just haven't seen anything from him that screams 5/8, seems like a genuine 1

Doubt the swap would happen, but that would be awesome. Tbh I reckon mooney has even more potential then leo. The guy could in the next 5 years be the next best prop in the NRL after haas

If $750k is true I think it would have been worth matching. Do we have a culture issue? @Junior_rep give us the goss! Terrible month for recruitment. Hope Tyrone kills it and we sign him long term

Surely it's proof he has the talent and worth investing in as 5/8

Things to happen before 2025 wishlist

Will Pryce and Shiller are in the NSW team of the year. How was Pryes performances? I thought he wasn't doing to well? Being 5/8 of the year would say otherwise

Agree, Jonah has a great running game already and tbh, I can really see gamble provide some grit which will really help. Jonah is gonna have ups and downs, gamble would really help with his boot and direct style

    The Halfback Conundrum

Also I noticed in his stats his form wasn't that great earlier in the year. But since round 18 has 14 try assists. No coincidence though as that's when nicho got injured. Seems like he needs to be the main man to be fully unlocked

    The Halfback Conundrum

I'm still all in for Jonah pezer next year! But damn trindal has got the goods after last night. Didn't realize he was that good, I think he might have one of the best kicking games after clearly and Reynolds. Really unlocks players around him
