Can someone explain to me what the criteria for a development contract is? I would have thought at his age and the fact he’s played first grade he wouldn’t be eligible for a Development contract? Can’t say I’m disappointed with this, sport is about good stories and if there were to be another...

I still think he will be good for us, I just think his absolute best days are behind him. always loved him as a player, one of those guys I always wished played for us, then it actually happens
