    Knights Injury and Suspension Updates

Does anyone know much about hamstring injuries? Going off socials, Ponga has been back on the field doing running on the field for a week now and they’re saying he might still be another 4 weeks away? Do we think he’s doing a mini preseason or this is just normal rehab?

I don’t really care about KPP, I think Lucas is better and there is no way you can pay both. Hope KPP goes well at the Tigs but it was the right call to let him walk.

NRL Round 6 - Tigers Vs Knights - 4:05pm Sunday, 12th April - Campbelltown Sports Stadium

A concern with a replacement for Best is Greg really doesn’t defend well and you’ve got to have a defensively buttoned up left centre. I don’t know enough about how WDC goes, but it’s going to be tough for a rookie.

    Fletcher Sharpe discussion

It’s a really fair analysis of Sharpe, but I think with time he’ll be able to smooth out some of the awkwardness in his ball playing. I don’t know how to fully explain this take but I feel like Sharpe is a victim of his own strengths that some don’t want to give him the time to grow as a NRL...

NRL Round 6 - Tigers Vs Knights - 4:05pm Sunday, 12th April - Campbelltown Sports Stadium

I would like to see Hunt at centre, Sharpe at fullback and Gamble in the halves for next week.

NRL Round 5 - Knights Vs Raiders - 4:05pm Sunday, 5th April - McDonald Jones Stadium

The way Holbrook speaks he sees the spine as a pretty fluid thing and just wants the best players on the park. I reckon his first choice is unchanged, but would be utterly shocked if he kept Hunt at fullback and dropped Smith out of the side when Brown comes back.

    Jermaine McEwen discussion

I think he deserves a lot of credit, poor against the Warriors, responds the next week with his best performance in first grade, showing great physicality against his opposite number who might be the best edge back rower of his generation. Hopefully as he keeps playing this year he can become a...

NRL Round 5 - Knights Vs Raiders - 4:05pm Sunday, 5th April - McDonald Jones Stadium

Imagine there will be an update today/tomorrow. I’m pretty nervous about Sharpe, he didn’t really look like himself on Saturday and seems like he might just re-aggravate it all year.

NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Such an encouraging display and you can see the difference Holbrook has made to the players basic skills and IQ. He said at the start of preseason Holbrook “these guys don’t need an army camp, we need a footy camp” and you can just see the improvement across the board. Honestly I reckon there is...

    Toohey's News

POS whole recruitment strategy looks to be making sure the roster is in contention shape in 2028-29. I can see why he decided to say no to Barnett, but it still sucks to see him go to Brisbane when he wanted to come here.

NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

The thing that infuriated me in 2021 and now has come back is when teams give them away on purpose. The panthers continually give them away on purpose and a few other teams, even us I think tbh have given them away when it just wouldn’t happen if it was a full penalty kick for touch.

NRL Round 4- Bulldogs Vs Knights - 3:00pm Saturday, 28th March - Accor Stadium

Dogs attack is terrible but they are going to put us under a lot of pressure. We didn’t respond that well yesterday and I don’t feel great about next week being much different.

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

I thought that was an extremely disappointing performance yesterday. Ball handling and discipline atrocious, hopefully something we can fix up because to win games without KP and Brown we need that to be spotless. I’m also pretty concerned about Sandon Smiths’s defence, so many tries and breaks...

NRL Round 3 - Knights Vs Warriors - 3:00pm Saturday, 21st March - McDonald Jones Stadium

Will be interesting to see what side Sharpe and Smith line up. Sharpe was extremely dangerous down the left however Smith has already developed a ball playing connection on that edge. I’d like to see Sharpe on the right, think his speed as well as Dom’s on that side could be lethal.
