2026 Season

Jerome luai is a bit of a flog. How's his last try celeb. Telling the fans to shut the f up and calling them *****es. 🤦‍♂️
While I don’t necessarily love his personality, he at least does show some personality. Different from the usual straight line PR stuff.

I think while you’re celebrating like this, making the “work tomorrow” type social posts it’s a bit of a self perpetuating cycle.

I can always understand players taking aim at opposing fans or “the media” - I don’t mind that. As a player, if you’re ever in a position to “give it to” your own fans - you probably should be out the door.

He’s basically sending that to all the “haters”, people in the media, opposition supporters (HVG) lol, is own supporters! I’m sure in Tigers forums he cops it, from not all but some supporters. That’s the nature of sport. Critics, passionate supporters. Does he need to do that? That’s up to the individual, that is who he is. Is it passion or him being a ****? For me he’s been good for the club, I say he’s on slight overs but he is a leader there and a very good player.

I actually watched on Matty John’s after they game, Luke Keary had some criticism of him, and when they interviewed Luai, they had a bit of a laugh about it, and he Luai answered it well.

Camera was zoomed in watching Liam Martin go through breathing exercises namely hyperventilation then a breath hold sequence. For all the body science out there they might want to tell him before sustained high intensity exercise that is a massive no no.

To be fair Penrith haven’t thrown a whole heap at them. The amount of ball they’ve had in the titans 20, it’s criminal they haven’t scored more than 12

Manly’s last few sets to setup for field goal were diabolical. Then Nathan Brown happens and throws it away inside his own half. Dumb.
Didn’t see the game…

But, whenever I hear Fogarty involved in a close game I get flashbacks to a Canberra game where scores were level and they basically had a whole set inside the opposition half - not once did they set up for a field goal. Was an absolute diabolical watch.

Okay, googled it. It was Raiders V Dolphins April 29 2023. They had 5 sets within the last 4 minutes scores locked at 30-30. Includes receiving a dropout, and a set restart on the goal line.

Only with 4 seconds to go and about 40m out halfway across the field he took a pot shot. Which missed.

Really turned me off him as a potential signing. Sure he would’ve improved our ball playing. But if you are a 7 and can’t recognise the importance of setting up for a FG or get your team set up for one….

Fogarty has struggled several times now regarding field goals or conversions.

Even last year missed a gettable kick in regulation against Penrith only for Ethan Strange to set up the match winning try for Kaeo Weekes in Golden Point.

Struggled in both finals matches last year and the match against us in 2023.

Maybe they should have used Fogarty for the conversions considering Garrick couldn’t convert to save his life, to think if Garrick kicked just one of his three they win
