What I want to see:

1. Fletcher Hunt
2. Dominic Young
3. Dane Gagai
4. Wilson De Courcey
5. Greg Marzhew
6. Fletcher Sharpe
7. Sandon Smith
8. Jacob Saifiti
9. Phoenix Crossland
10. Trey Mooney
11. Dylan Lucas
12. Jermaine McEwen
13. Mat Croker

14. Harrison Graham
15. Tyson Frizell
16. Pasami Saulo
17. Elijah Salesa-Leaumoana

A concern with a replacement for Best is Greg really doesn’t defend well and you’ve got to have a defensively buttoned up left centre. I don’t know enough about how WDC goes, but it’s going to be tough for a rookie.

Do we need Gags on the left to help out Greg and Jermaine?
With a less experienced centre next to Lucas?

Mcarthey has been on the left in ressies, wouldnt suprise me if the safe option is taken here and Kyle is named.

Team list is out.

More of De Courcey for the unfamiliar. Scored 29 tries in 25 games last year across NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg, mostly on the right wing but has played centre on both sides as well. Was an Australian Schoolboys centre a few years ago.

If you’re looking for a direct Gagai replacement going forward he’s the closest you’ll get to emulating that skillset - strength, footwork, finesse. Has a knack of making the difficult look very easy, and somehow the ball always bounces for him.

He needs to be up for 80 minutes instead of 40. I'm worried but hey nothing beats a deep end chuck in for a good test.

I'm in the same boat as you, very worried and think he will be found out.

Isn't he marking up on KPP and douehis side? Turuva is the centre on that side also right ?

He better stop the sit down put downs. He would be on notice if G Brennan was still around. I mean these highlights are scoring the tries. I'm backing him in but gee I'm worried. Hopefully he attacks the game and realises how hard NRL footy is and doesn't back down. I've heard some background noise he can be a tad lazy. Time will tell.
