With To’a out it’ll be interesting to see where that leaves Tuala for next year without a contract. If he’s playing above To’a, Young he should be signed as a cheapie to battle it out with them and Lee. Good depth in the wings I reckon.
Reserve grade would be great if it came back and reached its former glory. Players like Bill Peden only debuted at 24, became a regular at 25, and a lot of that would be down to developing in reserve grade … nowadays he’d be lost and probably never enter the system. It's the natural maturing process too. With as many games as he's played now, the confidence & comfort to play your own game at NRL level wouldn't be a struggle anymore. Just like anything, the more you do it, the more comfortable you are. It's probably an unpopular thought, but I believe most players that make it to NRL level have the potential to do this, apart from obviously guys that just can't get the mental/preparation/off field side right. The NRL is getting pretty cut throat now though, many guys under the 50/40/30 game mark I feel fall away from the game because of the nature of the business. A national reserve grade might help out.
Is there a better prop rotation in the comp than,
D.Saf
J.Saf
Klem
King
?
If we lose, we’ll at least get a chance at redemption before the season is out. It’s a double-edged sword though.Really nervous about this one.
We are basically back to square 1 if we put our best side on the field against a bunch of kids and reserve graders and can't get a win.

Wonder why King drops out, and Fitz straight back into starting side after his layoff. Harsh on King, unless it’s due to injury or something.Fitz starting at 2nd row, Barnett to lock, Watson to bench, King out.
