With To’a out it’ll be interesting to see where that leaves Tuala for next year without a contract. If he’s playing above To’a, Young he should be signed as a cheapie to battle it out with them and Lee. Good depth in the wings I reckon.

Not that many spots to go around.
If they re-sign Fitz, Crossland, King and Watson along with Gagai coming there is only 3 left by my count. 2 if they end up re-signing Lee as well.

It's the natural maturing process too. With as many games as he's played now, the confidence & comfort to play your own game at NRL level wouldn't be a struggle anymore. Just like anything, the more you do it, the more comfortable you are. It's probably an unpopular thought, but I believe most players that make it to NRL level have the potential to do this, apart from obviously guys that just can't get the mental/preparation/off field side right. The NRL is getting pretty cut throat now though, many guys under the 50/40/30 game mark I feel fall away from the game because of the nature of the business. A national reserve grade might help out.
Reserve grade would be great if it came back and reached its former glory. Players like Bill Peden only debuted at 24, became a regular at 25, and a lot of that would be down to developing in reserve grade … nowadays he’d be lost and probably never enter the system.

I think there’s an argument Penrith’s prop rotation is better even though it’s just the #1 prop in the comp (by a mile, don’t @ me) + three good but not great players in Leota, Leniu & Eisenhuth who do their job and fit together. But that’s harder to say for sure because Yeo plays huge minutes and really ties everything together for them. Certainly their middle as a whole is better than ours.

Albert Kelly training at dummy half yesterday.
Some are speculating he might start at hooker with Levi keeping his usual role of bench impact.
I hope so. Kelly is a creative half with a lot of X factor, but he can't tackle for ****.

The only team to destroy us in the forwards this year was Saint George, but it was mostly Tariq having his one amazing game of the year.
We struggled to recover for a few weeks after Saints bashed us up.

Really nervous about this one.
We are basically back to square 1 if we put our best side on the field against a bunch of kids and reserve graders and can't get a win.

If we lose, we’ll at least get a chance at redemption before the season is out. It’s a double-edged sword though.

C'mon you mighty bastards! Show us what newy means to you! If not then we'll sack the lot and start again haha.

Same here, I hate these games where we are expected to win and are heavy favourites....we always lose these.

To top it off Kalyn named as captain can only mean the team will let him down.

Us knights fans have been burnt so many times.

If Fitz is fired up, the left side of Clifford, Ponga, Fitz, Best and Tuala should be a nightmare for whichever kid they target.

Surely King wasn't dropped for no reason.. He has to be injured..... Fitz doesn't deserve to just walk right back in to the side. He has been garbage
