I was just reading that , it said if the cowboys sign Widdop they will release Clifford to the Knights straight away .

Cows are a basket case and we've picked their last 2 chances of getting our of the cellar in the next few years with Ponga and Clifford.

Funnily enough they are letting go Asiata as well who's a gun.

Re Widdop he looked off the pace 2 years ago at the Dragons, I am sure 2 years in ESL has improved him.

If we have Pearce, and is more than likely I would prefer Green at 5/8 even if we have Clifford. Just think his experience etc allows him to play for team rather than to Pearce’s game. Understand he might not be fit for a few rounds but am hoping for faster than normal recovery.
Just a thought bur if Ponga is missing for first 4-5 rounds who kicks goals, it’s a critical area carried over from last season and now no Lino.

Just read the article, hope it happens, but I do wonder why the Broncos would part with Dearden.
