Most clubs accept the Roosters and Storm get a 2-3 year window, were everyone is signed and they can legitimately challenge for a title.

We all know 5/8th is still a issue.

But we have a plethora of stars on the books and kids that are 3-4 seasons into firstgrade now.

So is this the beginning of our window, before other clubs and come and raid us and no doubt Kalyn goes and disappears from us and the NRL for his Rugby dream.

To me we probably won't get another chance after 2024 for years.

We should be building to it, if we have a good year, avoid the derp crap we keep turning out and get ourselves a solid top 8 spot, anything can happen.

Otherwise, considering the squad, if we arent aiming to win it then whats the point?

Our biggest challenge is between our ears stuff.

Not next year, Ponga out for first 4-5 games, no one is sure when Green will be available for starters. Again 4-8 in 2021.

The point is Club Loyalty. Look how CBM raves on, if you read his posts. From Kurri you know about loyalty, my lad.

For mine, the next steps in our evolution need to be finding consistency, make our home a fortress again, and knocking over a Penrith, Melbourne or Roosters a couple of times this year.

We have signed about 10 guys who are too young and inexperienced for us to have a shot in 2021.
2022-25 might be our window.

Once (if) we get to this window, which is probably more like 2023, how many of browns boys will be left?

Barnett, KP, Klem, Brailey maybe

Interesting to see peoples thoughts I think we are ripe now.

Speaking of Brown we have the warriors in round 2 friday 6pm, should be a ball tearer of a game, both coach's with a point to prove!

If Pearce plays next season the way he did for the first 7 or so games this season were in with a shot even without KP and Green for the first 6 or so weeks .
When he's on song we look real good no matter who's at 6 but it only lasted 7 or so games and its just not enough .
He has to be in form for much longer than that it was the same thing in 2019 when he played well we looked great but just not long enough from him .
Some people say he should take a pay cut but that still wont help us on the field , its a pain because he can be so good .
Maybe when green gets back put him at 7 and Pearce to 6 let Green run most of the plays and Pearce can be an attacking weapon at 6 with less pressure on him .
It fixes our 6 problem and Clifford can take over from Green in 2022 at 7 probably wont happen but its another way we could go and were not paying anymore for a 6 than we already are .

Probably a good thing that the start is easy on us with no Green or Ponga But hopefully the young guys stand up for us , i think they will .
