I’m starting to like having depth. If Edrick lee etc decide they need their pay doubled after a game of origin it can be a lot easier to say no if we’ve got talent there. Even in negotiations with Saifiti, Klemmer etc it helps if we have other talent there.

The highlight reel on the Cows website looks very good, but it's all juniors.
As far as I can see he has only had 1 qld cup game where he ran 40 metres off the bench for 8 fantasy points - so we have 5 or 6 young props his age with more senior experience.

Kiraz only lasted a year or two in Townsville. Originally a Dragons rookie.

Garrett Smith is a promising junior, the Cowboys have a handful of talented forwards coming through. He wasn’t in the top 2-3 of them but still has some good potential.
 
I think Lefty a more appropriate description would be "Squires" as young knights in training were known as!

As much as I like Lord Eldrick Lee he gets injured a tad too much to justify a lengthy reasonably coined deal. But hoping we can get another good year out of him. We seemed to be cursed when our better wingers get older, McManus, Uate...

We’ve got some good depth there with Toa, Hunt and Young coming through. Enari was also good on the wing.

All midgets though, except for Young. Edrick has the right physique for the kind of modern day winger you want to compete with the best teams, tall, strong, quick & loves working hard running the ball back. Will have to reserve judgement until I see him play, but Young looks maybe a touch too big. Unless he turns out to be some freak athlete that we've plucked out of nowhere, he might be better off in the centres.
 
Dom Young flew out from an English winter and is sitting in an air conditioned hotel till next week, when he joins us for training and the temp is predicted to be high 30s-low 40s. They might have to go easy on him for a few days.

Being called one of the best 18 yr old players in superleague isnt really being plucked out of nowhere . From his highlights he is big fast and mobile .

Our 1 trial will be against Melbourne in Melbourne two weeks before the comp kicks off.
Pearce will be offered a 1 year extension.
Club is in no hurry to extend Mann, Lee, Crossland, Hoy, Watson or Hunt, but has already started talking to Best about an extension despite him having 2 more years to go.

Hope we give extensions to Crossland, Hoy, Hunt and then either Watson or Mann.
 
Think Hunt has been very good, would be in top 3 wing/centre at club along with Best and Lee which in my mind leaves Shibs, Tuala, Toa etc fighting for a spot. Sign him up
