2020 NSW Cup

I notice Heath Gibbs is in some of the photos of off field activities.
I hope Heath has moved to the forwards and id training with the NSW cup squad, although he could just be friends with the guys still.
I think it was the profile piece on Tex Hoy that had a photo of Hoy, Connor Watson, Kayln Ponga, Matt Croker and Heath Gibbs.

Billy,
I believe Lyndon Hills, Nash Burch and Matt Cooper are back training with the NSW cup is this correct.
What sort of a contract would NSW Cup players be on if they aren't part of the top 30, on development deals or a 20s contract? Guys like these above and Jacob Gagai last year?

Apparently English prop Liam McAvoy is training with reserve grade.
I remember he came over mid season last year and did some training but I don't think he got a game.
He played some local league and was pretty impressive by all accounts.
He last played for Newcastle Thunder in the English second division.

We aren't going to do well for the same reason as last year - we have a very young squad.
Last time we won NSW cup we had guys like Clint Newton, Timana Tahu and even trainer George N'Daira came back and played a few games to help out, and the only under 20s guys I remember playing that year were Luke Yates and Jake Saifiti.
Last year we had 16 under 20s players have 1 or more games, and some like Hoy and Crossland played most of the season.
It might even be worse this year, with guys like Toa, Sasagi, Searle, Lucas, Crossland all looking like playing a lot of cup.
I can also see Ticehurst, Alexander, the other big Kiwi prop whose name I can't spell and maybe even 18 year olds like Mitch Black and Maile-J Townsend getting some games.

I don't think we'll come last, but like last year, we'll have some great games where we beat the top sides, and games when the young kids are too beat up from the long season to do well.

Agreed lots of young players but pack will have more experience, King, Randall, Saulo, Jones, Momoisea and some backs in Lino, Crossland and others when injury recovery in centres, Moga etc.

They are finally updating the profiles.
They have deleted about 20, but haven't added any of the new ones yet.
