I've always been of the opinion that the smallest guys on the field (usually the halfback?) are generally the most skillful because they can't run over blokes from an early age and have to find other ways. I hope he does have those other skills, guys like Bedsy certainly.have big raps on him.

We seem to have too many centres now, although i'd like to think we'll only use Best and Toa when they are 100% fit and rest them if they look jaded at all.
 
Makes sense, not a lot of depth in the back row and some of our more highly touted youngsters in Talty etc are still a year or more of first grade maybe. As much as I like Barnett and Fitz I don’t see them as a long term solution

Those centre/wing positions, it’s hard to come up with a possible team with all the combinations available
 
I think it's a good signing, personally. Broncos re-signed him not long ago so they must have seen some potential in him. Plus, if we've signed him simply to allow them space to sign Croft, then he's presumably come cheap. Wonder how long the deal is though. If it's a 1-year deal then I'd be happy with that.
 
The centre we picked up from the Titans was on a train and trial basis, so he'll need to kick some goals to get a contract now. Same with Soper-Lawler.

I think Roberts-Davis (the ex-Titans player, if that's the one you mean) is more of a winger, but it's good to have some competition going in the outside backs generally.
 
Anyone know anything about this ghamabat whatever his name is that we supposedly signed from the bronco's ..
 
He played his last 2 games for the Broncos off the bench, so I assume he was in the forward rotation.
