Adam O'Brien

I think Gardner needs to stop addressing he media. Ramien came here and kicked stones basically straight away because he went up a level after he signed. Doesn’t set a good example, perhaps could have sold it differently.

I'm thinking the Knights would not make a move like this, if they didnt already know who the coach will be next year, and have sought his input on Ramien.

Coach must have said he wants him. Club now expressing that to Ramien.

I posted earlier it's a shame Ramien is set on leaving, I would have loved to see what a coach with more attacking nounce could do with him.

Ramien is an attacking weapon.
Ponga is an attacking weapon.
Hoy is an attacking weapon.
Watson is an attacking weapon.
Best is an attacking weapon.
Toa is an attacking weapon.
Sasagi is an attacking weapon.
Fermor is an attacking weapon.
Fitz is an attacking weapon.
Potentially Moga is an attacking weapon.

Of that lot, i'd only back Ponga or maybe Best to make a tackle if my life depended on it - but the ew coach has the cattle to make us an attacking side.

one things for sure, the club telling us they had to now find a coach was all bullsh**.
cant recall where i read it but it mentioned david furner as a possibe assistant aswell. do we no what sort of coaching staff changes we are looking at? anyone put there by browns instruction may be in trouble
That's usually true but O'Brien is an Assistant coach and may not already have a team of his own like all 1st grade coaches as he is a part of Robinsons team.

I think Watson has come along way in defence, to the extent we missed him last week

I'm feeling lucky, give Moga a shot to take down Klemmer ball-and-all :dude:

If I got that wrong, I'll see y'all on the other side

Brown was the first and last coach to ever sign a week to week contract.

3 years for a rookie coach is generous though. It should be 1 year with options in the clubs favour.

I want to see who the assistant coaches are going to be, and who we sign to fill the 4 or 5 import spots that still need filling I think, but i'm excited for next year now.

rothfield tipped ciraldo after both were seen in deep discussion yesturday. potentially furner and ciraldo he ended up saying.

Worst kept secret in RL.

Good to get the announcement out of the way and start to put the turmoil of Browns departure behind us.

Onward, and especially upward.

So we got rid of the coach who was struggling to take us to the next level and signed the best available option?

Maybe Gardiner and co aren’t as terrible at running things as the DT journos keep telling us?
