Browns use of the bench annoys the chit out of me.
Why play Glasby for the entire first half and then only 6mins in the 2nd. He played well but you could see he looked tired at the end of the 1st half. surley the first and last 20-30 would be much more effective.

And Ese was one of our best last week, but this week to start him and use him for 25 in the fisrt and about 10 in the 2nd is very strange.

But I guess atleast none of our bench players had a 10 or less minute cameo like in previous weeks.

Why are we warming up for 40 minutes. Especially after SOO players backing up. Everything Pearce wanted to do out there we did the opposite. Seen him this morning and he was filthy about last night. I asked him about the use of the bench and he agreed it's not being used effectively but also said the players need to take responsibility in the middle.

We were right in that game until the sin bin. Dogs were defending well, we just needed to continue to be patient and stay in the grind and Gavet had to go and put a late shot on a no name forward off the ball, like what the hell did he think the point of it was?

He needs to be dropped to the very bottom of our forward pecking order and not sighted in first grade until he can prove he can consistently improve his discipline.

He cost us that game and might prove to end up costing us our season as well.

Am I the only one that thinks Gavets hit wasn't late? Played in normal speed it was fine to me and not just saying it because it was our team.

Same tackle today in the manly game was let go.

Is it because it's the knights that's why he was sin binned?

Was late not sure if it warranted a sin bin definitely been a lot worse. JWH on ponga is one that stands out. They did say they are going to police it a lot more will be interesting to see if there is any consistency.

Seems to me whenever they decide to police something we coo the brunt of it.

Perfect example was in the manly game today like I previously mentioned, no sin bin there.

Nah, was late and unnecessary. Sin bin was correct for mine.
It’s was both of these things. But a couple of similar incidents occurred yesterday and guess what?

No sin bin. It’s all well and good to have a crackdown on something but when it only applies to a couple of teams than it’s pretty bloody pointless.

We do seem to frequently be the victim of whatever crackdown the refs/NRL are on at the moment. But it was known that there was a crackdown on late dog shot style hits, crusher tackles etc. Yet here we are Barnett sin binned and suspended for blatant crusher, and Gavet sin binned for a late tackle that he could easily have pulled out of.

They knew there was a crackdown and yet did it anyway. That isn't bad refereeing, that stupid by the players.

In reply to Member, Burgess should have been sent off not sin binned for the eye gouge, and the other should have been sent off for the head butt on Dsaf. They got it wrong then, but got it right here.

That's the problem, These idiots that run our game do this every so often...

Something controversial happens and the NRL instead of being proactive become reactive and announce a crackdown

The crackdown lasts for short amount of time with no consistency and then the crackdown fades away

I'm all for protecting players and I hate the late hits but you need to be consistent

The MRC, Judiciary and Refs are all severely lacking in the consistency department

Refs aside and the fact that we get picked on by them.

Does anybody else think that the loss of Lee has been massive and underestimated? We are seriously lacking his go forward from the back and he was safe under the high ball.

Hunt needs to switch back to the centres for mine also as he was killing it.

Was only a sin bin because the player stayed down. He gets back up and it's only a penalty. Feel like we'll start seeing more players staying down again now.
